The Washington Capitals continue their six game road trip as they head 15 minutes from Anaheim to Los Angeles as they take on the Kings who have lost their past four games. The Capitals will be looking to bounce back from the lackluster 5-2 loss to the Ducks last night as they look to have a better performance against the Kings. The Capitals will be without forward TJ Oshie who was injured last night against Anaheim.

Keys to the Game:

1. Show up and play a full 60 minutes

The Capitals need to show up and play a full 60 minutes against the Kings. The Capitals disappeared after Alex Ovechkin scored and it came back to bite them. Especially against one of the worst teams in the league. The Capitals play a struggling Kings team, and the Capitals need to win this game.

Los Angeles Kings:

Projected Lineup:

Alex Iafallo — Anze Kopitar — Dustin Brown

Brendan Leipsic — Jeff Carter — Tyler Toffoli

Carl Hagelin — Adrian Kempe — Ilya Kovalchuk

Kyle Clifford — Trevor Lewis — Austin Wagner

Derek Forbort — Drew Doughty

Oscar Fantenberg — Paul LaDue

Dion Phaneuf — Matt Roy

Jack Campbell

Jonathan Quick

Scratched: Michael Amadio

Injured: Alec Martinez (upper body), Sean Walker (upper body), Jonny Brodzinski (shoulder)

Keys to the Game:

1. Get a jump on the Capitals

The Kings may be struggling, but last night the Ducks gave the Kings the blueprint to beating the Capitals. The Kings need to take it to the Capitals and force the pace of the game in their favor.
