Keys to the Game:

1. Fresh legs

The Canucks will be playing their second game in two nights, and will need to keep their legs fresh in this one after the hard fought effort in their loss to the Philadelphia Flyers last night.

Washington Capitals:

Projected Lineup:

Alex Ovechkin — Nicklas Backstrom — T.J. Oshie

Jakub Vrana — Evgeny Kuznetsov — Tom Wilson

Dmitrij Jaskin — Travis Boyd — Brett Connolly

Andre Burakovsky — Nic Dowd — Devante Smith-Pelly

Dmitry Orlov — John Carlson

Michal Kempny — Matt Niskanen

Brooks Orpik — Jonas Siegenthaler

Braden Holtby

Pheonix Copley

Scratched: Chandler Stephenson, Madison Bowey

Keys to the Game:

1. Get a good start

The Capitals came out flatter than a pancake against the Boston Bruins the other day, and will need to come out with some urgency to start the game. If the Capitals can get a few strong shifts to start this game it can work as the motivator to a better game from the Capitals.
