Toronto would score three unanswered goals, but it would still not be enough to get past the Detroit Red Wings in the contest.

Columbus’ Seth Jones would score the game-winner, 10 seconds into the overtime frame to give the Blue Jackets the win in Philadelphia. Jones now holds the record for quickest overtime game-winner in franchise history.
PITTSBURGH 6, NY Islanders 2
For the second consecutive contest, the Pittsburgh Penguins would have a six-goal game. The Penguins would go on to defeat the New York Islanders by the score of 6-2.
Montreal 5, OTTAWA 2
The Montreal would defeat the Ottawa Senators, beating them for the second time in three nights, with the 5-2 win in Ottawa.
Montreal’s Andrew Shaw would also score his 100th NHL goal with the win over the Senators.
TAMPA BAY 3, Boston 2
Tampa Bay’s Anthony Cirelli would put the game away for the Tampa Bay Lightning with the 3-2 win over the Boston Bruins last night.
CALGARY 2, Minnesota 0
Calgary Flames G Mike Smith would stop all 31 shots to give the Flames the 2-0 win over the Minnesota Wild last night.
Washington 4, ARIZONA 2
Washington Capitals F Alex Ovechkin would score his 21st goal of the season and extended his point-scoring streak to 10 games.
The Washington Capitals would go on to defeat the Arizona Coyotes 4-2 in Glendale, Arizona last night.

Vegas Golden Knights William Karlsson would become the first player as a member of the Golden Knights to reach 100 points.
Vegas would go on to defeat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3.
New Jersey 6, LOS ANGELES 3
New Jersey Devils Kyle Palmieri would have his fourth multi-goal game of the season as the Devils would go on to double up the Los Angeles Kings 6-3 at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles last night.
