In NHL news…
The NHL announced today that all 31 teams will take part in the 20th anniversary of the Hockey Fights Cancer initiative. Hockey Fights Cancer has been uniting hockey communities in support of cancer patients for the last 20 years.
All 31 teams across the league will host Hockey Fights Cancer awareness nights and will feature all teams wearing lavender jerseys, dasherboards, decals on all players helmets, and “I Fight For…” cards.
In addition, all youth hockey leagues across North America have the option to host their own Hockey Fights Cancer nights via their community rinks via the HFC Assist programs.
All 31 NHL teams will host a #HockeyFightsCancer awareness night in-arena, featuring lavender jerseys, dasherboards, decals on player helmets, and “I Fight For” cards.
