Whale sign goalie Meeri Räisänen

The Connecticut Whale went out and signed Finnish goalie Meeri Räisänen. This is a late signing in the off-season; merely days before the regular season is supposed to start. She is also a bronze medalist in the Women’s World Championships and a bronze medalist in the Olympics.
