- The National Hockey League announced the Three Stars of the Month for March.
- The first star went to Tampa Bay Lightning F Nikita Kucherov. Kucherov had nine goals and 26 points in 14 games played.
- The Second Star went to Pittsburgh Penguins D Erik Karlsson. Karlsson had nine goals and 24 points across 17 games played.
- The Third Star was awarded to Boston Bruins C Pavel Zacha. Zacha recorded 13 goals and 22 points across 16 games played.
- Additionally, the National Hockey League announced that St. Louis Blues F Jimmy Snuggerud was named the Rookie of the Month.
- Snuggerud recorded seven goals and eight assists for 15 points in 14 games played.
- With this announcement, Snuggerud became the first St. Louis rookie to be awarded the honour since G Jordan Binnington was named Rookie of the Month in March 2019.
- In the PWHL, the League announced their recipients of the Starting Six for the Month of March. Forwards Kelly Pannek, Laura Stacey, Susanna Tapania, Defenceman Nicole Gosling and Hayley Winn, and Goaltender Aerin Frankel.
- Minnesota Frost F Kelly Pannek recorded eight points (four goals and four assists) in eight games played, tying the league lead for the month.
- Montreal Victoire F Laura Stacey also recorded eight points (four goals and four assists) in eight games played.
- Boston Fleet F Susanna Tapani recorded eight points as well (four goals and four assists) in 10 games played.
- Montreal Victoire D Nicole Goslin was named to the Starting Six for the second consecutive month after having a six point performance across eight games played.
- Boston Fleet D Haley Winn lead all defenders on the scoring sheet and tying the PWHL lead with eight points in 10 games played for the month. Winn recorded three goals and five assists.
- Boston Fleet G Aerin Frankel rounded out the Starting Six by leading all netminders in every major category by allowing only seven goals and netting seven victories in eight starts.

Vancouver Goldeneyes v. Montreal Victoire – 7p ET (PWHL)
- In Montreal, the Victoire hosted the Goldeneyes and after scoreless first and second periods, Montreal got on the board when Hayley Scamurra scored a pair of goals, the second being an empty netter with her, to take the 2-0 lead and then Maggie Flaherty also got an empty net goal to give the Victoire the 3-0 shutout victory over the Goldeneyes to clinch a playoff berth for Montreal for the third straight season.

Minnesota Frost v. New York Sirens – 7p ET (PWHL)
- In New Jersey, the Sirens hosted the Frost and in the first Minnesota took the 1-0 lead when Taylor Heise netted her ninth of the season and then New York tied the game when Maddi Wheeler scored her third of the year. In the second, Grace Zumwinkle scored a power paly goal, her 10th goal of the season, to put Minnesota up 2-1. In the third, Grace Zumwinkle scored her second of the night as the Frost went up 3-1 but then Sarah Fillier netted a pair of goals for the Sirens to tie the game 3-3. In the overtime session, Sarah Fillier got the hat trick to give the Sirens the 4-3 victory over the Frost.

Vancouver Canucks v. Colorado Avalanche – 830p ET
- In Colorado, the Canucks visited the Mile High City to take on the Avalanche, and in the first Max Sasson scored his 12th of the season to give Vancouver the 1-0 lead but then Colorado tied the game when Nathan MacKinnon scored his 50th goal of the year. Then, Teddy Blueger scored his seventh of the year with a shorthanded goal to a put Vancouver back in the lead and then Jake DeBrusk scored a power play goal, his 17th goal of the season, as the Canucks took the 3-1 lead. Gabriel Landeskog then went on to score his 12th of the season as the Avs got within a goal. In the second period, Vancouver re-took the two goal lead when Teddy Blueger scored his second of the night and then Brock Boeser scored a pair of goals as the Canucks took the 6-2 lead. Sam Malinski then scored his sixth of the year as the Avs got within three. In the third, Parker Kelly scored his 19th of the year as Colorado cut the lead to two and then Brent Burns scored his 11th goal on the year as the Avs got within a goal. The Avalanche then tied the game when Sam Malinski tied the game with his second goal of the night but then Marcus Pettersson scored his second goal of the season as Vancouver re-took the lead. Brock Boeser then completed the hat trick late in the period with an empty netter as the Canucks went on to defeat the Avalanche 8-6.
