- The NHL Department of Player Safety announced that they have suspended Florida Panthers forward A.J. Greer.
- Greer was suspended for three games for boarding Calgary Flames forward Connor Zary on Friday, March 20th.
- Greer will forfeit $13,281.24 based on his average annual salary per the CBA.

- At Madison Square Garden, the New York Rangers would play host to the Winnipeg Jets, and in the first period, Adam Lowry would score his fifth of the season to give the Jets the 1-0 lead. - In Washington, the Capitals would battle the Colorado Avalanche to close out their homestand, and in the first period, Justin Sourdif would score to give the Capitals the 1-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second period, Gabriel Landeskog would score his 10th of the season and Nicolas Roy would score to give the Avalanche the 2-1 lead, but Alex Ovechkin would score from his office on the powerplay for his 923rd career NHL goal and 1000th goal combined between the regular season and playoffs to tie the game at two for the Capitals to force overtime. In the extra frame, Brock Nelson would score to give the Avalanche the 3-2 overtime victory over the Capitals.
Carolina Hurricanes v. Pittsburgh Penguins – 3p ET
- In Pittsburgh, the Carolina Hurricanes would come to town to battle the Penguins, and in the first period, Sebastian Aho would score his 25th of the season while on the powerplay to give the Hurricanes the 1-0 lead. In the second period, Nikolaj Ehlers (PPG), Jalen Chatfield, and Seth Jarvis (PPG) would score to give the Hurricanes the 4-0 lead. Then in the third period, Egor Chinakhov would score for the Penguins, but an empty netter by Mark Jankowski would give the Hurricanes the 5-1 victory over the Penguins.
Nashville Predators v. Chicago Blackhawks – 3p ET
- In Chicago, the Blackhawks would take on the visiting Nashville Predators, and after a scoreless first period, Nick Lardis would open the scoring for the Blackhawks, but Filip Forsberg would score to tie the game at one for the Predators. However, Connor Bedard would score to give the Blackhawks the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period, Steven Stamkos would score to tie the game at two for the Predators to send the game to overtime. In the extra frame, Forsberg would score his second of the game to give the Predators the 3-2 overtime victory over the Blackhawks.
Montreal Victoire v. Ottawa Charge – 7p ET (PWHL)
- At the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada for the PWHL Takeover Tour, the Ottawa Charge would play the host as they take on the Montreal Victoire, and after a scoreless first period, Gabbie Hughes would open the scoring for the Charge, but Nicole Gosling would score for the Victoire to tie the game at one. Then after a scoreless third period, Rebecca Leslie would score 12 seconds into the extra frame while on the powerplay to give the Charge the 2-1 overtime victory over the Victoire.
Columbus Blue Jackets v. New York Islanders – 7p ET
- On Long Island, the Columbus Blue Jackets would come to battle the New York Islanders, and in the first period, Bo Horvat would score the lone goal of the game to give the Islanders the 1-0 victory over the Blue Jackets. Ilya Sorokin would stop all 26 shots faced to earn the shutout for the Islanders.
Vegas Golden Knights v. Dallas Stars – 7p ET
- In Dallas, the Vegas Golden Knights would come to the Lone Star State to battle the Stars, and in the first period, Brayden McNabb would strike first for the Knights, but a powerplay goal from Wyatt Johnston and a tally from Justin Hryckowian would give the Stars the 2-1 lead. - In Calgary, the Flames would play host to the Tampa Bay Lightning, and in the first period, Ryan McDonagh would score for the Lightning, but goals from Victor Olofsson and Morgan Frost would give the Flames the 2-1 lead.
