  • The Nashville Predators and Minnesota Wild would make a trade.
    • The Wild acquired forward Michael McCarron.
    • The Predators acquired a 2028 2nd Round pick.

  • The Predators would also make a trade with the Vegas Golden Knights.
    • The Predators acquired defenseman Christoffer Sedoff and a 2028 3rdRound pick.
    • The Golden Knights acquired forward Cole Smith.

Jersey Tracking and Mini Recaps

Pittsburgh Penguins v. Boston Bruins – 7p ET

  • In Boston, the Bruins would play host to the Pittsburgh Penguins, and in the first period, Erik Karlsson would open the scoring for the Penguins, bit goals from Marat Khusnutdinov and Casey Mittelstadt would give the Bruins the 2-1 lead. Then, it would be scoreless in both the second and third periods as the Bruins would hold off the Penguins for the 2-1 victory.

Vegas Golden Knights v. Buffalo Sabres – 7p ET

  • In Buffalo, the Vegas Golden Knights would continue their road trip with a matchup against the Sabres, and in the first period, Jason Zucker would score to give the Sabres the 1-0 lead. In the second period, Owen Power and Tage Thompson would score to grow the Sabres lead to three, but goals from Ivan Barbashev and Pavel Dorofeyev would get the Knoghts back within one. Then it would be a scoreless third period as the Sabres would go on to defeat the Golden Knights 3-2.

Florida Panthers v. New Jersey Devils – 7p ET

  • In New Jersey, the Devils would battle the visiting Florida Panthers, and in the first period, Arseny Gritsyuk would open the scoring for the Devils, but Anton Lundell would score to tie the gane at one for the Panthers. In the second period, Dougie Hamilton and Cody Glass would score to give the Devils the 3-1 lead. Then in the third period, Dawson Mercer and Simon Nemec would both score empty netters to give the Devils the 5-1 victory over the Panthers.

Utah Mammoth v. Washington Capitals – 7p ET

  • In Washington, the Capitals would play host to the Utah Mammoth, and in the first period, Dylan Guenther and Mikhail Sergachev (PPG) would score to give the Mammoth the 2-0 lead, but Pierre-Luc Dubois would score late in the period to get the Capitals back within one. In the second period, J.J. Peterka would strike on the powerplay to give the Mammoth the 3-1 lead. Then in the third period, Ryan Leonard would score on the powerplay for the Capitals to pull back within one, but the Mammoth would hold on to defeat the Capitals 3-2.

Montreal Victoire v. Toronto Sceptres – 7p ET (PWHL)

  • In Toronto for PWHL action, the Montréal Victoire would come to town to battle the Sceptres, and in the first period, Maggie Connors would score to give the Sceptres the 1-0 lead. In the second period, Blayre Turnbull would score her fifth of the season to give the Sceptres the two goal lead, but goals from Marie-Philip Poulin and Hayley Scamurra (PPG) would tie the game at two for the Victoire. Then in the third period, Lina Ljungblom would score for Montreal while Jesse Compher would score for the Sceptres to send this game to overtime tied at three. After a scoreless overtime period, it would be Poulin with the winner in the shootout to give the Victoire the 4-3 victory over the Sceptres.

Nashville Predators v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 7p ET

  • In Columbus, the Nashville Predators would come to town to battle the Blue Jackets, and in the first period, Adam Fantilli would open the scoring for the Jackets, but Filip Forsberg would score on the powerplay to tie the game at one for the Predators. In the second period, Ryan O’Reilly would be the beneficiary of an own goal by the Jackets to give the Predators the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period, Sean Monahan would score while shorthanded and Charlie Coyle would score to give the Blue Jackets the 3-2 victory over the Predators.

Chicago Blackhawks v. Winnipeg Jets – 8p ET

  • In Winnipeg, the Jets would play host to the Chicago Blackhawks, and in the first period, Dylan Samburg would score first for the Jets, but Teuvo Teravainen would score to tie the game at one for the Blackhawks. Then after a scoreless second period, Ryan Greene would score to give the Blackhawks the 2-1 lead, but Cole Perfetti would score to send the game to overtime tied at two for the Jets. In the extra frame, Mark Scheifele would score to give the Jets the 3-2 overtime victory over the Blackhawks.
