Philadelphia Flyers v. Washington Capitals – 7p ET
- In Washington, the Capitals hosted the Flyers in a key divisional match-up. Following a scoreless first period, Washington got on the board when Rasmus Sandin scored his third on the season. In the third, Noah Cates scored his 11th of the year to get Philadelphia on the board to tie the contest 1-1 but then Washington re-took the lead as Trevor van Riemsdyk scored his second of the season. Then, Aliaksei Protas scored his 20th on the year with a shorthanded, empty net goal as the Capitals downed the Flyers 3-1
Buffalo Sabres v. New Jersey Devils – 730p ET
- In New Jersey, the Devils welcomed the Sabres back to the Garden State. After a scoreless first, Buffalo went up 1-0 as Tage Thompson scored his 31st of the year. In the third, Peyton Krebs struck with his eighth of the year to put Buffalo up 2-0 but the New Jersey got on the board as Timo Meier scored his 15th of the year. However, the New Jersey comeback fell short as the Sabres held on to down the Devils 2-1.
Toronto Maple Leafs v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 730p ET
- In Tampa Bay, the Lightning hosted the Maple Leafs. After a scoreless first, Tampa Bay took the 1-0 when Brayden Point scored his 12th of the year and then Gage Conclaves scored his seventh as the Lightning went up 2-0. Tampa Bay then went up 3-0 as Nikita Kucherov scored his 30th of the season but Toronto got on the board with John Tavares’ 21st of the year on the power play. Then, Tampa Bay re-took the three goal lead as Brayden Point netted his second of the night but then Matthew Knies scored his 15th of the year but the Lightning held on to defeat the Maple Leafs 4-2.
Seattle Kraken v. Dallas Stars – 8p ET
- In Dallas, the Stars hosted the Kraken and in the first Dallas took the 1-0 lead as Wyatt Johnston scored his 30th of the year. In the second, Matt Duchene scored his 11th as the Stars took the 2-0 lead and then Mavrik Bourque scored his 12th as Dallas went up 3-0. Wyatt Johnston then scored his second of the night with a power play goal as the Stars went up 4-0. In the third, Seattle got on the board with Ryker Evans sixth of the year. However, there would be no Seattle comeback as the Stars went on to defeat the Kraken 4-1.
