- The NHL announced that they have named Seattle Kraken forward Jared McCann First Star of the Week.
- Andrei Vasilevskiy (TB) and Travis Konecny (PHI) would round out the rest of the Three Stars.
- During a Press Conference, Barry Trotz announced that he will be retiring as general manager of the Nashville Predators.
- Trotz will remain in the role until a new successor has been named.

Buffalo Sabres v. Florida Panthers – 7p ET
- In South Florida, the Panthers welcomed the Sabres and in the first, Florida took the 1-0 lead as Sandis Vilmanis scored his second of the year and then the Panthers took the 2-0 lead when Evan Rodrigues netted his 10th of the year. Then, Buffalo got on the board when Tage Thompson scored his 29th of the year and then Peyton Krebs netted his seventh as the Sabres evened the score. In the third, Zach Benson scored his seventh as Buffalo took the lead but Florida responded when Uvis Balinskis scored his fourth goal of the year on the power play. In the third, Jason Zucker scored his 14th on the Buffalo power play as they took the 4-3 lead and then Josh Doan scored his 17th as the Sabres defeated the Penguins 5-3.
Ottawa Senators v. Pittsburgh Penguins – 7p ET
- In Pittsburgh, the Penguins welcomed the Senators back to the Steel City and in the first Pittsburgh took the 1-0 lead as Igor Chinakov scored his 10th of the year. In the second, Michael Amadio’s eighth of the year tied the game for Ottawa. In the third, Tim Stützle’s 26th of the year gave the Sens the 2-1 lead but then Tommy Novak scored his 10th of the year as Pittsburgh tied the game. Then, Claude Giroux scored his 11th of the year as the Senators downed the Penguins 3-2
New York Islanders v. Washington Capitals – 7p ET
- In Washington, the Capitals hosted the Islanders and in the first New York took the 1-0 lead as Mathew Barzal scored his 15th of the year. In the second, Martin Fehérváry scored his fourth to tie the game for Washington and then Anthony Beauvillier scored his 11th to put the Capitals in the lead. In the third, Nic Dowd scored his fourth as Washington went up 3-1 and then John Carlson scored his 10th with an empty netter to give the Capitals the 4-1 win over the Islanders.
Montréal Canadiens v. Minnesota Wild – 730p ET
- In Minnesota, the Canadiens made their annual trek to the State of Hockey to take on the Wild. In the first, Minnesota took the 1-0 lead with Joel Eriksson Ek’s 15th of the year and then Kirill Kaprizov scored his 31st as the Wild went up 2-0. Then, Brendan Gallagher scored his fifth of the year to put Montréal on the board. In the second, Ivan Demidov scored his 12th of the year as the Habs tied the game. In the third, Kirby Dach scored his seventh as Montréal took the 3-2 lead but then Minnesota tied the game with Brock Faber’s 13th of the year. In overtime, Kirill Kaprizov scored a power play goal, his second goal of the night, as the Wild downed the Canadiens 4-3.
St. Louis Blues v. Nashville Predators – 8p ET
- In Nashville, the Predators hosted the Blues in a divisional matchup. In the first, St. Louis took the 1-0 lead when Jake Neighbours scored his 14th but then Nashville got on the board with Ryan O’Reilly’s 19th of the year on the power play. Then, Pavel Buchnevich scored a power play goal of his own, his 10th goal of the year, as the Blues re-took the lead. In the second, Pavel Buchnevich scored his second of the night to put St. Louis up a pair and then Philip Broberg scored his third to give the Blues the 4-1 lead. Then, St. Louis took the 5-1 lead as Colton Parayko scored his first of the season, but then Michael McCarron’s fourth of the year brought Nashville within three. Filip Forsberg then went on to score his 23rd of the year as Nashville came within a pair. In the third, Ryan O’Reilly scored his second of the night as Nashville got within a goal and then Steven Stamkos went on to score a pair of goals as the Predators got the 6-5 win over the Blues.
San Jose Sharks v. Chicago Blackhawks – 830p ET
- In Chicago, the Blackhawks welcomed the Sharks and in the first Connor Bedard scored his 23rd on the power play to put Chicago up 1-0. In the second, Connor Murphy scored his fourth of the year to put the Blackhawks up 2-0 and then Ryan Donato netted his 12th of the year as Chicago went up 3-0. Then, Sam Rinzel scored his second of the year as the Blackhawks went up 4-0 but then Will Smith scored his 17th as San Jose got on the board. Then, Ilya Mikheyev scored his 11th as Chicago re-took the four goal lead but then Macklin Celibrini’s 28th of the year brought the Sharks within three. In the third, Shakir Mukhamadullin scored his third of the year to bring San Jose within a pair but then Ryan Donato scored his second of the night as the Blackhawks doubled up the Sharks 6-3.
Winnipeg Jets v. Dallas Stars – 830p ET
- In Dallas, the Stars hosted the Jets in a divisional match-up and after a scoreless first, Jason Robertson scored his 31st on the power play to give Dallas the 1-0 lead but then Winnipeg tied the game with Gabriel Vilardi’s 21st of the year. Then, Cole Perfetti scored his sixth of the year on the Winnipeg power play to put the Jets up 2-1 but then Nils Lundkvist scored his third as the Stars tied the game. In the third, Mikko Rantanen scored his 20th of the year to put Dallas up 3-2 but then Logan Stanley scored his ninth to tie the game for Winnipeg. In overtime, Thomas Harley scored his fifth of the year as the Stars got the 4-3 win over the Jets.
