Buffalo Sabres v. New York Islanders – 1p ET

  • In Long Island, the Sabres visited the Islanders and after a scoreless first, Buffalo took the 1-0 lead when Jason Zucker scored his 12th of the year and then Tage Thompson’s 27th of the year gave the Sabres the 2-0 lead.  In the third, Jason Zucker scored his 13th of the year as Buffalo went up 3-0 and then Rasmus Dahlin hit the empty net with his eighth of the year to make it a 4-0 lead.  Then, Alex Tuch scored his 18th of the year as the Sabres shutout the Isles 5-0.

Ottawa Charge v. Montréal Victoire – 2p ET (PWHL)

  • In Montréal, the Victoire hosted the Charge and in the first Maureen Murphy scored a pair of goals as Montréal took the 2-0 lead, with Murphy’s second goal being on the Victoire power play.  In the second, Ottawa got on the board when Fanuza Kadirova scored her third of the year.  In the third, Abby Roque scored her fifth with an empty net goal as the Victoire downed the Charge 3-1.

Utah Mammoth v. Nashville Predators – 330p ET

  • NOTE: Due to weather, this contest was moved up two hours from 3:30p to 1:30p.  
  • In Nashville, the Mammoth made the visit to Music City USA to take on the Predators and in the first Nashville took the 1-0 lead when Steven Stamkos scored a power play goal, his 25th goal of the year.  In the second, Utah got on the board with Clayton Keller’s 16th of the year and then the Mammoth take the lead as Michael Carcone scored his 10th of the year.  Utah then took the 3-1 lead with Kailer Yamamoto’s fifth of the year but then Nashville got within a goal with Jonathan Marchessault’s ninth of the year.  In the third, Barrett Hayton scored his sixth of the year as Utah re-took the two goal lead and then JJ Peterka was awarded the empty net goal, his 18th goal of the year, as the Mammoth got the 5-2 win over the Predators.

Montreal Canadiens v. Boston Bruins – 7p ET

  • In Boston, it would be an Original Six match-up as the Canadiens faced off against the Bruins for the final time on the season in Beantown.  In the first, Montréal took the 1-0 lead as Cole Caufield scored his 27th of the year.  In the second, Boston tied the contest when Viktor Arvidsson scored his 12th of the year on the power play but then Cole Caufield’s power play goal, his second goal of the night, put the Canadiens back in the lead.  Then, Morgan Geekie scored a power play goal of his own, his 27th goal of the year, as Boston tied the game once more, but then Cole Caufield completed the hat trick with his second power play goal of the contest as the Canadiens took the 3-2 lead.  In the third, Boston tied the contest as Fraser Minten scored his 13th of the year and then Morgan Geekie netted his 28th of the year on the B’s power play as the Bruins got the 4-3 win over the Canadiens.

Carolina Hurricanes v. Ottawa Senators – 7p ET

  • In Ottawa, the Senators hosted the Hurricanes and in the first William Carrier scored his sixth to put Carolina up 1-0 and then Seth Jarvis scored his 23rd to put the Hurricanes up 2-0.  Then, the Canes took the 3-0 lead when Taylor Hall scored his 12th of the year.  In the second, Carolina took the 4-0 with a power play goal from Andrei Svechnikov, his 18th goal of the year, but then Ottawa got on the board with Tim Stützle’s 23rd of the year.  However, the Hurricanes stopped the Senators as they got the 4-1 win.

Tampa Bay Lightning v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 7p ET

  • In Columbus, the Blue Jackets hosted the Lightning for the final time on the year and in the first Cole Sillinger’s sixth of the year gave Columbus the 1-0 lead but then Tampa Bay tied the game with Jake Guentzel’s 23rd of the year.  Then, Columbus re-took the lead as Mason Marchment scored his 10th of the year but then the Bolts responded with a power play goal from Darren Raddysh, his 13th goal of the year.  Then, Adam Fantilli netted his 13th of the year to put Columbus back in the lead and then Dmitri Voronkov scored his 17th as the Jackets took the two goal lead.  In the second, Nikita Kucherov scored his 26th to bring the Lightning within a goal and then Anthony Cirelli scored his 14th of the year to tie the game for Tampa Bay.  Then, Mason Marchment scored his second of the night to give Columbus the lead back and then Charlie Coyle scored a power play goal, his 11th goal of the year, to give the Jackets the two goal lead back.  In the third, Sean Monahan scored an empty net goal, his eighth goal on the season, to put Columbus up three, but then Jake Guentzel netted his 24th as the Bolts came within a pair.  Then, Mason Marchment completed the hat trick as the Blue Jackets got the 8-5 win over the Lightning.

Detroit Red Wings v. Winnipeg Jets – 7p ET

  • In Winnipeg, the Jets and the Red Wings face off for the final time this season and following a scoreless first, Winnipeg took the 1-0 lead with Cole Koepke’s fourth of the year but then Detroit tied the game with J.T. Compher’s seventh of the year.  In the third, J.T. Compher scored his second straight to put the Wings up 2-1 and then Lucas Raymond’s 18th of the year gave Detroit the 3-1 lead.  Then, an empty netter from Alex DeBrincat, his 27th goal on the year, put Detroit up 4-1 and then Marco Kasper’s fifth of the year sealed the win as the Red Wings took down the Jets 5-1.

Los Angeles Kings v. St. Louis Blues – 8p ET

  • In St. Louis, the Blues hosted the Kings and in the first Los Angeles took the 1-0 lead as Taylor Ward scored his second of the year.  In the second, Brian Dumoulin scored his first of the year as the Kings took the 2-0 lead but then St. Louis got on the board with Dalibor Dvorsky’s ninth of the year.  Then, Brayden Schenn’s power play goal, his 10th goal on the season, tied the game for the Blues and then Jordan Kyrou’s 10th of the year put St. Louis in the lead.  However, Alex Laferriere’s 13th of the year tied the game for Los Angeles.  In the third, Trevor Moore netted his sixth of the year to put the Kings back in the lead but then St. Louis re-tied the game as Jordan Kyrou scored his second of the night.  After the scoreless overtime, the Kings got the game winner in the shootout with a Trevor Moore goal to down the Blues 5-4.
