- The NHL’s Alumni Association announced that Paul Coffey is the 2026 recipient of the Keith Magnuson ‘Man of the Year’ Award.
- The award will be handed out Saturday, March 14 in Toronto at The Concert Hall.
- The Minnesota Frost Championship Ring was unveiled and the ring was designed to bring about the story of the evolution of the second straight championship.
- The ring was designed in partnership with Paris Jewellers

Vegas Golden Knights v. Boston Bruins – 7p ET
- In Boston, the Bruins hosted the Golden Knights and in the first Charlie McAvoy scored a power play goal, his fourth, to put Boston up 1-0 and then Elias Lindholm scored his ninth on the power play to give the Bruins the 2-0 lead. Then, Tanner Jeannot scored his fifth as Boston went up 3-0. In the second, David Pastrnak got his 21st as the B’s went up 4-0. In the third, Jack Eichel’s 18th of the year put Vegas on the board and then Tomas Hertl’s 21st of the year on the power play brought the Golden Knights within two. Then, Pavel Dorofeyev scored his 21st on the year for Vegas but the comeback fell short as the Bruins got the 4-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Buffalo Sabres v. Montréal Canadiens – 7p ET
- In Montréal, the Canadiens hosted the Sabres and in the first Buffalo took the 1-0 lead when Jason Zucker scored his 11th of the year and then the Sabres made it a 2-0 lead when Beck Malenstyn scored a shorthanded goal, his fourth goal on the year. In the second, Buffalo went up 3-0 as Zach Benson scored his sixth of the year but Montréal got on the board with Cole Caufield’s 26th of the year. Then, Nick Suzuki’s 16th of the year brought the Canadiens within a goal. In the third, Peyton Krebs scored his sixth of the year with an empty net goal as the Sabres downed the Canadiens 4-2.
Chicago Blackhawks v. Carolina Hurricanes – 7p ET
- In Raleigh, the Hurricanes hosted the Blackhawks and in the first Ilya Mikheyev scored a shorthanded goal, his ninth goal, as Chicago took the 1-0 lead but then Carolina tied the game when Joel Nystrom scored his first career NHL goal. In the second, Nick Lardis scored his fifth as Chicago re-took the lead but then Jordan Staal scored his 11th of the year to tie the game for the Canes once more. In the third, Chicago re-took the lead once more when Connor Murphy scored his second of the year but then Jackson Blake’s 16th of the year made it a 3-3 game. Following the scoreless overtime session, this game moved to the shootout where Oliver Moore scored the game winner to give the Blackhawks the 4-3 win over the Hurricanes.
Dallas Stars v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 7p ET
- In Columbus, the Blue Jackets welcomed the Stars back to the Buckeye State and in the first Zach Werenski scored the lone goal of the contest, his 19th goal on the year, as the Blue Jackets got the 1-0 win over the Stars.
Ottawa Senators v. Nashville Predators – 8p ET
- In Nashville, the Predators welcomed the Senators back to Music City USA and in the first Stephen Halliday scored his first career NHL goal as Ottawa went up 1-0 and then Ridly Greig scored his eighth on the year as the Sens went up 2-0. IN the second, Dylan Cozens netted his 16th as Ottawa went up 3-0 but then Steven Stamkos scored his 22nd to put Nashville on the board with a power play goal. In the third, Jonathan Marchessault scored his eighth to bring the Predators within a goal and then Steven Stamkos scored a pair of goals, one on a power play and the second completing the hat trick, to give Nashville the 4-3 lead. Then, Cole Smith scored the empty netter, his sixth goal on the year, as the Predators scored five unanswered goals to down the Senators 5-3.
Florida Panthers v. Winnipeg Jets – 8p ET
- In Winnipeg, the Jets welcomed the Panthers back to Central Canada and after a scoreless first, Florida took the 1-0 with Sam Bennett’s 18th of the year. In the third, Cole Perfetti scored his fourth of the year as the Jets tied the game. Following the scoreless overtime, Sam Reinhart scored the game winner in the shootout as the Panthers got the 2-1 win over the Jets.
