- The Colorado Avalanche announced that Kim Weiss has been promoted to Assistant Coach of the Colorado Eagles of the AHL.
- Weiss becomes the second woman to become a full time assistant coach in either the NHL (Jessica Campbell – SEA) and AHL.

San Jose Sharks v. Detroit Red Wings – 7p ET
- In Detroit, the Red Wings would play host to the San Jose Sharks, and in the first period, Alex DeBrincat would score his 25th of the season while on the powerplay to give the Wings the 1-0 lead, but the returning Will Smith would score to tie the game at one for the Sharks. In the second period as both teams would trade goals as Collin Graf would score for the Sharks while J.T. Compher would score for the Wings for the 2-2 tie. Then in the third period, Dylan Larkin would score and Marco Kasper would get the empty netter to give the Red Wings the 4-2 victory over the Sharks.
Florida Panthers v. Carolina Hurricanes – 7p ET
- In Carolina, the Florida Panthers would come to town to battle the Hurricanes, and in the first period, Nikolaj Ehlers would score to give the Hurricanes the 1-0 lead. In the second period, Uvis Balinskis would score to tie the game at one for the Panthers, but goals from Mark Jankowski and Alexander Nikishin (PPG) would give the Hurricanes the 3-1 lead. Then in the third period, the floodgates would open as Taylor Hall would score a pair of goals, Ehlers scored two goals to complete his hat trick, and Andrei Svechnikov (PPG) and Eric Robinson would score to give the Hurricanes the 9-1 victory over the Panthers.
Minnesota Frost v. New York Sirens – 7p ET (PWHL)
- Before heading to Washington DC, the New York Sirens would play host to the Minnesota Frost at the Prudential Center, and in the first period, Britta Curl-Salemme would open the scoring for the Frost, but Casey O’Brien would score shorthanded to tie the game at one for the Sirens. In the second period, Kelly Pannek would score for the Frost while Taylor Girard would score to tie the game at two for the Sirens. Then after a scoreless third period, Kendall Coyne Schofield would score to give the Frost the 3-2 overtime victory over the Sirens.
Tampa Bay Lightning v. St. Louis Blues -8p ET
- In St. Louis, the Tampa Bay Lightning would pay a visit to the Blues, and in the first period, Jake Neighbours and Nick Bjugstad would score to give the Blues the 2-0 lead. In the second period, Nikita Kucherov and Oliver Bjorkstrand would both score on the powerplay to tie the game at two for the Lightning. Then after a scoreless third period and overtime frame, it would be Jordan Kyrou with the shootout winner to give the Blues the 3-2 victory over the Lightning.
