- The NHL named Calgary Flames defenseman Rasmus Andersson as First Star of the Week.

Jersey Tracking and Mini Recaps
Philadelphia Flyers v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 7p ET
- In Tampa, the Lightning hosted the Flyers and in the first Brandon Hagel scored his 10th to put Tampa Bay up 1-0. In the second, Anthony Cirelli scored his ninth as the Bolts took the 2-0 lead. In the third, Brandon Hagel scored an empty netter, his second goal of the night, as the Lightning get the 3-0 shutout over the Flyers.
Detroit Red Wings v. New Jersey Devils – 7p ET
- In New Jersey, the Devils hosted the Red Wings and in the first Timo Meier’s seventh of the year gave New Jersey the 1-0 lead but then Detroit’s Alex DeBrincat scored his 11th to even the score. Then, Nico Hischier scored his seventh to put the Devs back in the lead adn then Cody Glass got his fourth to put New Jersey up two. In the second, James van Riemsdyk scored a power play goal, his second of the year, to bring Detroit within a goal but then Connor Brown got his sixth to put the Devils back up two. In the third, Detroit’s Dylan Larkin got his 13th but the comeback fell short as the Devils escape with the 4-3 win over the Red Wings.
St. Louis Blues v. New York Rangers – 7p ET
- In New York, the Rangers welcomed the Blues back to Manhattan and in the first St. Louis took the 1-0 lead when Dylan Holloway got his sixth of the year. In the second, the Blueshirts tied the game when Vincent Trocheck netted his fourth of the year. In the third, Alexis Lafrenière scored his fifth to put New York in the lead and then Adam Edstrom scored his second to give the Rangers the 3-1 lead. Then, St. Louis’ Brayden Schenn scored his fourth but the comeback would fall short as the Rangers down the Blues 3-2.
Columbus Blue Jackets v. Washington Capitals – 7p ET
- In Washington, the Capitals hosted the Blue Jackets and in the first Jakob Chychrun got his seventh to put Washington up 1-0. In the second, Tom Wilson scored his 12th and then Jakopb Chychrun scored on the power play, his second goal of the night, as the Caps took the 3-0 lead. Then, John Carlson scored his fifth as Washington took the 4-0 lead. In the third, Martin Fehervary netted his second as the Capitals took the 5-0 lead but then Columbus got on the board when Denton Mateychuk scored his fifth but the Capitals stood pat as they defeated the Blue Jackets 5-1.
Florida Panthers v. Nashville Predators – 8p ET
- In Nashville, the Predators hosted the Panthers and in the first Florida got on the board just 11 seconds into the game when A.J. Greer got his fifth of the year and then Evan Rodrigues netted his sixth as the Panthers took the 2-0 lead. Then, Filip Forsberg got his ninth as Nashville got on the board and then Fedor Svechkov got his first to tie the game 2-2. Then, Jesper Boqvist scored his third to put Florida back in the lead and then Sam Bennett’s fifth of the year gave the Panthers the 4-2 lead. In the second, Gustav Forsling’s first of the year lifted Florida to the 5-2 lead. In the third, Nick Blankenburg scored a power play goal, his second goal of the year, to bring Nashville within two but then A.J. Greer scored his second of the night to put Florida back up three. Then, Sam Reinhart scored his 13th as the Florida went up four and then Carter Verhaeghe scored his third as the Panthers pounced the Predators 8-3.
