Columbus Blue Jackets v. Detroit Red Wings – 1p ET
- In Detroit, the Red Wings hosted the Blue Jackets and in the first Columbus took the 1-0 lead when Adam Fantilli scored a power play goal, his ninth goal on the year. In the second, Detroit tied the game early with Lucas Raymond’s seventh but then the Blue Jackets re-took the lead when Miles Wood got his sixth. In the third, Columbus went up a pair when Zach Werenski got his seventh but then Ben Chiarot scored his second as Detroit came within a goal. Then, Moritz Seider’s third tied the contest for the Wings. In the overtime session, Alex DeBrincat scored his 10th as the Red Wings scored three unanswered to defeat the Blue Jackets 4-3.
St. Louis Blues v. New York Islanders – 330p ET
- In Long Island, the Islanders welcomed the Blues and in the first St. Louis went up 1-0 when Brayden Schenn got his third. In the second, Pius Suter netted his sixth as the Blues took the 2-0 lead. In the third, New York got on the board when Andres Lee struck with his fourth but the Blues held on to defeat the Islanders 2-1.
Toronto Maple Leafs v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET
- In Montréal, rivals face off in an Original Six match-up. In the first, Lane Hutson opened up the scoring with his third on the year and then Noah Dobson scored his second as the Canadiens went up 2-0. In the second, Noah Dobson scored his second of the night as Montréal went up 3-0 and then the Habs went up 4-0 as Josh Anderson got his fourth. Then, Toronto then got on the board when Oliver Ekman-Larsson struck with his third. In the third, Toronto got within two when William Nylander netted his 10th on a man-advantage goal but then Josh Anderson netted his second of the night with an empty netter as the Canadiens down the Maple Leafs 5-2.
Edmonton Oilers v. Florida Panthers – 7p ET
- In South Florida, it would be the first re-match of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final as the Panthers hosted the Oilers. In the first, Edmonton took the 1-0 lead when Jack Roslovic scored his eighth of the year but then Florida tied the game when Anton Lundell scored his sixth. Then, Anton Lundell scored his second of the night as Edmonton re-took the lead and then Mattias Ekholm netted his second as the Oilers took the 3-1 lead. In the second, Edmonton took the three goal lead when Vasily Podkolzin netted his fourth but then Florida responded when Mackie Samoskevich got his third. Then, Sam Reinhart brought the Panthers within a goal as he scored his 12th on the Cats power play. In the third, Edmonton got a pair of empty net goals when Connor McDavid netted his 10th and Matt Savoie scored his third as the Oilers double up the Panthers 6-3.
New York Sirens v. Ottawa Charge – 7p ET (PWHL)
- In Ottawa, the Charge and Sirens faced off in each team’s first game of their 2025-26 PWHL seasons. After scoreless first and second periods, New York took the 1-0 lead when Taylor Girard scored her first of the year and then Taylor Girard went on to net her second straight goal to put the Sirens up 2-0. Then, Taylor Girard got her first hat trick of the year as New York took the 3-0 lead and then Maja Nylen Persson struck with her first of the year as the Sirens shutout the Charge 4-0.
New Jersey Devils v. Philadelphia Flyers – 7p ET
- In Philadelphia, the Flyers hosted the Devils and in the first New Jersey took the 1-0 lead when Timo Meier scored a power play goal, his sixth goal of the year, nut then Noah Cates scored his fifth as the Flyers tied the game. Then, Matvei Michkov got his fifth as Philly took the 2-1 lead and then Tyson Foerster netted a pair of goals as the Flyers took the three goal lead. In the second, Bobby Brink netted his sixth as Philadelphia took the 5-1 lead but then Nico Hischier’s fifth of the year brought the Devs within three. In the third, Nico Hischier scored his second of the night as New Jersey got within two but Trevor Zegras scored his seventh as the Flyers doubled up the Devils 6-3.
Seattle Kraken v. Pittsburgh Penguins – 7p ET
- In Pittsburgh, the Kraken made their annual trip to the Steel City to take on the Steelers. Following a scoreless first, Mason Marchment’s second gave Seattle the 1-0 lead but then Sidney Crosby got his 13th as Pittsburgh tied the game. In the third, Evgeni Malkin’s power play goal, his sixth goal on the year, put the Pens in the lead but then Matty Beniers third tied the game for Seattle. In overtime, Brandon Montour scored his fourth as the Kraken downed the Penguins 3-2.
Tampa Bay Lightning v. Washington Capitals – 7p ET
- In Washington it would be Hockey Fights Cancer night for the Capitals as the face off against the Lightning for the final time this season. In the first, Washington jumped out to the 1-0 lead when Justin Sourdif scored his third but then Tampa Bay tied the game when Brandon Hagel scored a power play goal, his eighth goal on the year. Then, Oliver Bjorkstrand’s second goal, another power play goal, gave the Bolts the 2-1 lead and then Brandon Hagel scored his second goal on the night to put Tampa Bay up 3-1. Then, Nikita Kucherov’s 10th of the year gave the Lightning the 4-1 lead. In the second, Jakob Chychrun’s sixth of the year brought Washington within two. In the third, Ethen Frank netted his third of the year to bring the Caps within a goal but then Anthony Cirelli scored his eighth as the Lightning struck down the Capitals 5-3.
Ottawa Senators v. San Jose Sharks – 7p ET
- In San Jose, the Sharks welcomed the Senators for their lone visit to Northern California for the year. In the first, Ottawa took the 1-0 lead when Dylan Cozens scored his eighth but then San Jose tied the game when John Klingberg netted a power play goal of his own, his third of the year. In the second, San Jose took the 2-1 lead when Barclay Goodrow got his first of the year but then the Sens tied the game with Fabian Zetterlund’s second of the year. In the third, Tim Stützle scored his 11th as the Senators came back to defeat the Sharks 3-2.
Colorado Avalanche v. Nashville Predators – 8p ET
- In Nashville, the Predators and Avalanche faced off in a divisional match-up. In the first, Colorado took the very early lead when Brent Burns scored his second of the year. After a scoreless second, the Avs got a pair of empty netters when Nathan MacKinnon scored his 17th and Jack Drury getting his fourth as the Avalanche shutout the Predators 3-0.
