2025-26 Preview
Looking for a Breakthrough
After falling in the semifinals in back to back seasons, the Toronto Sceptres will look to get over that hump and get in the PWHL Championship series this season. The Sceptres lost both goaltenders Kristen Campbell and Carly Jackson to expansion teams Vancouver and Seattle respectively, and also lost key forwards Sarah Nurse and Hannah Miller to Vancouver as well. Raygan Kirk and offseason signing Elaine Chuli will be looked to become the stalwarts in net for the Sceptres.
On both offense and defense, the Sceptres is probably the one team that came out the best from the expansion process as they still have a very solid core carried over from the first two seasons, and made smaller additions to help with their overall depth. The Sceptres I could see being a team that finally gets over that hump and challenge for the Walter Cup this season.
