Nashville Predators v. Pittsburgh Penguins – 9a ET – 2025 NHL Global Series – Avicii Arena – Stockholm, Sweden
- In Stockholm, Sweden for the final game of the Global Series, the Pittsburgh Penguins and Nashville Predators would faceoff, and in the first period, Parker Wotherspoon, Evgeni Malkin, and Sidney Crosby would score for the 3-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second period, Blake Lizotte would score on an empty net to give the Penguins the 4-0 victory over the Predators. Sergei Murashov would stop all 22 shots faced to earn his first career NHL win and shutout for the Penguins.
Vancouver Canucks v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 5p ET
- In Tampa Bay, the Lightning would play host to the Vancouver Canucks, and late in the first period, Nikita Kucherov would score his 8th of the season to give the Lightning the 1-0 lead. In the second period, Jake Guentzel would also score his 8th of the season to grow the Lightning’s lead to two, but a powerplay goal from Jake DeBrusk would get the Canucks on the board and back within one. Then in the third period, Kiefer Sherwood would score on the powerplay, Mackenzie MacEachern would score a pair of goals and both Drew O’Connor and Marcus Pettersson would score to give the Canucks the 6-2 victory over the Lightning.
Vegas Golden Knights v. Minnesota Wild – 6p ET
- In Minnesota, the Vegas Golden Knights would come to town to visit the Wild, and in the first period, Joel Eriksson Ek would score to give the Wild the 1-0 lead, but Pavel Dorofeyev would score on the powerplay to tie the game at one for the Knights. In the second period, Yakov Trenin would score his first of the season to give the Wild the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period, Reilly Smith would score while on the powerplay to tie the game at two for the Knights to force overtime. In the extra frame, Kirill Kaprizov would score on the powerplay with 10 seconds left to give the Wild the 3-2 overtime victory over the Golden Knights.
Detroit Red Wings v. New York Rangers – 7p ET
- At Madison Square Garden, the New York Rangers would play host to the Detroit Red Wings for an Original Six and Centennial Jerseys matchup, and after a scoreless first period, Alex DeBrincat would score on the powerplay to give the Wings the 1-0 lead, but Mika Zibanejad would strike on the powerplay to tie the game at one for the Rangers. Then in the third period, Lucas Raymond would score his fifth of the season to give the Red Wings the 2-1 victory over the Rangers.
