San Jose Sharks v. New Jersey Devils – 7p ET
- In New Jersey, the Devils would play host to the San Jose Sharks, and in the first period William Eklund would score while on the powerplay to give the Sharks the 1-0 lead. In the second period, Dougie Hamilton would score a pair of goals to give the Devils the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period, Connor Brown would score on the empty netter to give the Devils the 3-1 victory over the Sharks.
Washington Capitals v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 7p ET
- In Columbus, the Washington Capitals would come to town to face off with the Blue Jackets, and after a scoreless 38 minutes, John Carlson would score to give the Capitals the 1-0 lead. Then in the third period, Alex Ovechkin would net goal number 899 and Justin Sourdif would score his first as a Capital in a span of 64 seconds to give the Capitals the 3-0 lead. Denton Mateychuck would score for the Jackets, but a pair of powerplay goals from Tom Wilson and Connor McMichael would give the Capitals the 5-1 victory over the Blue Jackets.
Toronto Maple Leafs v. Buffalo Sabres – 7p ET
- In Buffalo, the Sabres break out the Black and Red as they host the Toronto Maple Leafs for the first game of their home and home series, and in the first period, both teams would trade tallies as Mattias Samuelsson and Jiri Kulich would score for the Sabres while William Nylander and Auston Matthews (PPG) would score for the Leafs for the 2-2 tie. In the second period Tage Thompson and Samuelsson would score to give the Sabres the 4-2 lead. In the third period, Dakota Joshua would score his first as a Leaf to get the Leafs back within one, but a shorthanded tally from Alex Tuch would give the Sabres the 5-3 victory over the Maple Leafs.

Calgary Flames v. Winnipeg Jets – 8p ET
- In Winnipeg, the Jets break out the Heritage Blues as they host the Calgary Flames, and in the first period, Nazem Kadri would score to give the Flames the 1-0 lead. In the second period, Kyle Connor would score to tie the game at one for the Jets, and then goals from Jonathan Toews and Gabriel Vilardi (PPG) would give the Jets the 3-1 lead. However, Mikael Backlund would score to get the Flames back within one, but a tally from Alex Iafallo would reclaim the two goal lead for the Jets. Then in the third period, Blake Coleman would score for the Flames, but Vladislav Namestnikov would score to give the Jets the 5-3 victory over the Flames.
