News
- The San Jose Sharks claimed defenseman Vincent Iorio off of waivers from the Washington Capitals. (SJ Sharks)
- The Vegas Golden Knights announced that they have signed goaltender Carter Hart to a Professional Tryout (PTO).
- Hart was acquitted of the charges against him from the high-profile Hockey Canada sexual assault trial this past summer, and will be eligible to play for the Golden Knights starting December 1st, per the agreement between the NHL and NHLPA.
- Hart is expected to start practicing with the Henderson silver Knights of the AHL on Nov. 15th as part of the PTO.
- The Ottawa Senators announced that captain Brady Tkachuk will miss 6-8 weeks.
- Tkachuk had successful surgery on his right thumb.

New York Rangers v. Toronto Maple Leafs – 7p ET
- In Toronto, the Maple Leafs renew their rivalry with the New York Rangers in an Original Six match-up. In the first, Matthew Knies scored on the power play, his second goal of the year, to put Toronto up 1-0. After a scoreless second, New York tied the game when Juuso Parssinen scored his first of the year. In overtime, Auston Matthews scored the game winner as the Maple Leafs downed the Rangers 2-1.

Nashville Predators v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET
- In Montréal, the Canadiens welcomed the Predators for their lone visit on the year. Following a scoreless first, Steven Stamkos got on the board with his first of the year on the man advantage to give Nashville the 1-0 lead. In the third, Oliver Kapanaen scored his third of the year to even the score for the Habs but then Nick Perbix scored his second of the year to put the Preds back in the lead. Cole Caufield then went on to score his fourth of the year to tie the game for Montréal once more. Then in the overtime frame, Cole Caufield scored the game winner as the Canadiens defeated the Predators 3-2
Seattle Kraken v. Ottawa Senators – 7p ET
- In the Canadian Capital, the Senators host the Kraken for the lone time on the year and in the first, Shane Wright scored his first of the year to put Seattle up 1-0 but then Shane Pinto netted his sixth of the year to tie the game for Ottawa. David Perron then scored a power play goal, his first goal of the year, to put the Sens up 2-1. In the second, Chandler Stephenson scored his first of the year to tie the game for the Kraken. In the third, Chandler Stephenson scored his second of the year on the power play to put Seattle back in the lead but then Dylan Cozens nets his second to tie the game for Ottawa. After a scoreless overtime, Shane Pinto scores the game winner in the shootout as the Senators defeat the Kraken 4-3.
Florida Panthers v. New Jersey Devils – 7p ET
- In New Jersey, the Devils welcome the Panthers back to the Garden State. In the first, Evan Rodrigues scored his second of the year to Florida in the lead. In the second, Jack Hughes scored his first of the year to tie the contest for the Devils. In the third, Timo Meier scored his third to put New Jersey in the lead and then Nico Hischier scored his second of the year as the Devils scored three unanswered to down the Panthers 3-1.
Winnipeg Jets v. Philadelphia Flyers – 7p ET
- In Philadelphia, the Flyers welcome the Jets for their lone visit on the year. In the first, Vladislav Namestnikov scored his first of the year to put the Jets in the lead. In the second, the Jets took the 2-0 lead when Mark Scheifele scored his fourth but then Philadelphia got on the board when Owen Tippett scored his second. Morgan Barron then scored his third to put Winnipeg back up two. In the third, Mark Scheifele then scored his second of the night on the Jets man-advantage but then Matvei Michkov scored his first of the year to cut the Winnipeg lead to two once more. Tanner Pearson then his the empty net with his second of the year as the Jets fly by the Flyers for the 5-2 win.
Colorado Avalanche v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 7p ET
- In Columbus, the Blue Jackets host the Avalanche and following a scoreless first, Ivan Provorov scored his first of the year to put Columbus up 1-0 but Cale Makar would score his second of the year to tie the contest. Brock Nelson then scored his first of the year to put Colorado in the lead and then Valeri Nichushkin scored his first of the year to put the Avs up a pair. In the third, Valeri Nichushkin scored an empty netter as the Avalanche score four answered to defeat the Blue Jackets 4-1.
Edmonton Oilers v. New York Islanders – 730p ET
- In Long Island, the Islanders welcome the Oilers and in the first Mathew Barzal scored his first of the year to put New York in the lead and then Leon Draisaitl scored on the power play, his third goal of the year, to tie the game for Edmonton. In the second, Edmonton took the lead when Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored his second of the year but then Bo Horvat scored a shorthanded goal to tie the game for the Isles. In the third, Bo Horvat scored his second of the night, this time on the New York man-advantage, and then he completed the hat-trick with an empty netter as the Islanders double up the Oilers 4-2.
Vancouver Canucks v. Dallas Stars – 8p ET
- In Dallas, the Canucks went to the Lone Star state to take on the Stars. In the first, Mavrik Bourque scored his first of the year to put Dallas up 1-0 and then Mikko Rantanen scored on the power play to put the Stars up a pair. In the second, Filip Chytil scored his third of the year to get the Canucks on the board and then Vancouver tied the game with Brock Boeser’s third of the year on the ‘Nucks man-advantage. Then, Max Sasson’s first of the year puts Vancouver in the lead followed by Conor Garland’s first of the year to put the Canucks up two. In the third, Wyatt Johnston scored on the Dallas power play, his fourth goal of the year, to bring the Stars within one but Quinn Hughes scored on the power play, his first goal of the year, as the Canucks down the Stars 5-3.
