- The Washington Capitals announced that they have hired Spencer Carbery as Head Coach.
- Carbery becomes the 20th head coach in Capitals franchise history, and the first to coach at all three levels within the organization.

- Hershey Bears (AHL) – 2018-19 through 2020-21
- Carbery spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
- Carbery becomes the 20th head coach in Capitals franchise history, and the first to coach at all three levels within the organization.
- The Nashville Predators announced that they have relieved Head coach John Hynes and Assistant Coach Dan Lambert of their duties.
- The Predators are expected to announce Andrew Brunette as their next head coach.
- The Montreal Force announced that they have re-signed forwards Samantha Isbell, Kristina Shanahan, and Brooke Stacey, and signed defender Emily Rickwood.
- All four players signed one year deals.
- Isbell’s deal is worth $75,000 while Shanahan’s deal is worth $40,000.
- The Toronto Six announced that they have re-signed defender Saroya Tinker.
- Tinker would sign a one year deal.
- The Minnesota Whitecaps announced that they have re-signed forward Liz Schepers.
- Schepers would sign a two year deal.
- The first year of the deal brings a base salary of $70,000 with potential performance bonuses of up to $34,000.
- The second year of the deal will bring a base salary of $80,000 with potential performance bonuses up to $40,500.
