Today in the NWHL the Beauts re-signed forward Cassidy MacPherson, the Whale signed a goalie, and the Riveters add a defender.
MacPherson Returns to Beauts
- The Beauts have re-signed forward Cassidy MacPherson for ghe 2020-21 season.
- MacPherson played in all 24 regular season games last season for the Beauts.
- In her rookie campaign MacPherson would register five goals and seven assists for 12 points.
- In the final six games of the 2019-20 season MacPherson would record five points to help guide the Beauts to the playoffs.
Ives on the Whale
- The Connecticut Whale have announced that they have signed goaltender Abbie Ives for the 2020-21 season.
- Ives becomes the second goalie to sign with the Whale for the upcoming season joining returning goalie Brooke Wolejko.
- Ives recorded 17 wins, a 1.91 GAA, and a .927 save percentage last season with Quinnipiac.
Rivs Add Some Czech-ing to Blue Line
- The Metropolitan Riveters announced they have signed defender Sammy Kolowrat for the 2020-21 season.
- Kolowrat, a native of Prague, Czech Republic, played four seasons at the University of Vermont where she would play 141 games.
- Kolowrat is also a member of the Czech National Team.
