Thursday evening the Washington Capitals continued to make moves as they traded defenseman Declan Chisholm to the New Jersey Devils.
Chisholm, 26, recorded a goal and 6 assists for 7 points in 26 games played for the Capitals during the 2025-26 season. When he made his Capitals’ debut on October 12, 2025, Chisholm would play in his 100th career NHL game. The left-handed shot defenseman was acquired on June 28th, 2025, by the Capitals from the Minnesota Wild with a 6th Round Pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.
The Capitals acquired a 2027 4th Round Pick for Chisholm from the Devils.
