- The PWHL announced that the annual awards show and the 2026 PWHL Draft will take place in Detroit on June 16 and 17, respectively.
- The Washington Capitals announced a pair of signings.
- Petr Sikora signed his entry level contract. The contract is a three year deal with an AAV of $995,000
- Theodor Niederbach to a one-year, two-way contract. The NHL salary is worth $1.025 million and the AHL salary is at $85,000

Montreal Victoire v. Minnesota Frost – 8p ET – Game 3 (PWHL)
- In the PWHL, the Victoire and Frost each look to take the 2-1 series lead. In the first, Minnesota took the 1-0 lead when Sidney Morin got her second of the postseason. In the second, Montreal tied the contest when Maggie Flaherty scored her first of the postseason and then Hayley Scammura got her first of the postseason to give the Victoire the 2-1 victory and series lead over the Frost after no goals were scored in the third period.
Carolina Hurricanes v. Philadelphia Flyers – 8p ET – Game 3
- In Philadelphia, the Flyers hosted the Hurricanes in Game 3 of their second round series. In the first, Carolina took the 1-0 lead with Jordan Staal’s first of the playoffs on the power play. In the second, Philadelphia got on the board with Trevor Zegras’ second of the postseason but then Carolina re-took the lead with Jalen Chatfield’s first of the playoffs. In the third, Andrei Svechnikov netted a power play goal, his first this postseason to give Carolina the 3-1 lead and then Nikolaj Ehlers got his second to give the Hurricanes the 4-1 win over the Flyers and take the 3-0 series lead.
