- The NHL Department of Payer Safety announced that they will have a hearing with Ottawa Senators forward Ridley Greig.
- Greig’s hearing will be for roughing Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Sean Walker on Saturday, April 25th.
- The date and time of the hearing will be announced at a later time.
- In the PWHL, the Walter Cup Playoffs are officially set.
- The 1st place Montreal Victoire chose the 3rd place Minnesota Frost as their semi-final opponent.
- The 2nd place Boston Fleet will take on the 4th place Ottawa Charge in the semi-finals.

Buffalo Sabres v. Boston Bruins – 2p ET – Game 4
- In Boston for Game 4, the Buffalo Sabres would look to ride their momentum to a 3-1 series lead against the Bruins, and in the first period, the Sabres stampeded the Bruins with 4 goals as Peyton Krebs, Josh Doan, Zach Benson, and Bowen Byram would score to give the Sabres the 4-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second period, Beck Malenstyn and Alex Tuch would score to give the Sabres the commanding 6-0 lead and force Jeremy Swayman from the net for the Bruins. Sean Kuraly would score shorthanded for the Bruins, but the Sabres would go on to defeat the Bruins 6-1 to take the 3-1 series lead.
Colorado Avalanche v. Los Angeles Kings – 430p ET – Game 4
- In Los Angeles, the Colorado Avalanche look to complete the sweep while the Kings look to keep their season alive, and in the first period, Nathan MacKinnon would score on the powerplay to give the Avalanche the 1-0 lead. In the second period, Cale Makar would score to grow Colorado’s lead to two, but Joel Edmundson would score to get the Kings on the board and back within one. Then in the third period, Nicolas Roy, Devon Toews, and MacKinnon (ENG) would score to give the Avalanche the 5-1 victory over the Kings to complete the 4-0 series sweep. This game also marked the final NHL game for Kings forward and captain Anze Kopitar.
Tampa Bay Lightning v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET – Game 4
- In Montreal, the Canadiens would play host to the Tampa Bay Lightning for Game 4, and after a scoreless first period, Zachary Bolduc and Cole Caufield (PPG) would both score for the Canadiens to take the 2-0 lead, but Jake Guentzel would score his first of the playoffs to get the Lightning on the board and back within one. Then in the third period, Brandon Hagel would score a powerplay goal and an even strength goal to give the Lightning the 3-2 victory over the Canadiens to tie the series at two.
