Jersey Tracking and Mini Recaps

New York Sirens v. Boston Fleet – 12p ET (PWHL)

  • In Boston, the Fleet and Sirens faced off in the regular season finale for both squads and following scoreless first and second periods, Jessie Eldridge scored her 14th of the year to put Boston up 1-0 and then Ella Huber got her fourth of the year to put the Fleet up 2-0.  Then, Haley Winn scored a power play goal, her fifth of the year, to put Boston up 3-0 and then Jill Saulnier scored an empty net, shorthanded goal, her second goal of the year, to give the Fleet the 4-0 shutout over the Sirens.

Toronto Sceptres v. Ottawa Charge – 2p ET (PWHL)

  • In Ottawa, the Charge hosted the Sceptres in the regular season finale for both squads and after a scoreless first, Ottawa took the 1-0 lead when Fanuza Kadirova scored her 10th.  In the third, Sarah Wozniewicz netted her seventh to put Ottawa up 2-0 and then Alexa Vasko scored an empty net goal, her second of the year, to give the Charge the 3-0 shutout victory over the Sceptres.

Carolina Hurricanes v. Ottawa Senators – 3p ET – Game 4

  • In Ottawa, the Senators look to avoid elimination for at least one more game when they take on the Hurricanes.  After a scoreless first, Carolina took the 1-0 lead when Taylor Hall scored his second of the postseason but then Drake Batherson gets Ottawa on the board with a power play goal, his third of the postseason.  In the third, Carolina re-took the lead when Logan Stankoven scored a power play goal, his fourth of the playoffs and then Sebastian Aho hit the empty net, his second goal of the postseason, to put the Canes up 3-1.  Dylan Cozens then got Ottawa within a goal with his second of the playoffs and then Sebastian Aho scored his second of the night to give the Hurricanes the 4-2 win and the series sweep over the Senators.

Dallas Stars v. Minnesota Wild – 530p ET – Game 4

  • In Minnesota, the Wild look to even the series against the Stars and in the first Dallas took the 1-0 lead when Jason Robertson scored his fourth with a power play goal but then Minnesota got on the board when Brock Faber netted his third of the postseason.  In the second, Dallas re-took the lead when Miro Heiskanen got his first goal of the postseason on the power play.  In the third, Minnesota tied the game once more when Marcus Foligno got his first in the playoffs.  In overtime, Matt Boldy scored the game winner with his third to give the Wild the 3-2 win and even the series 2-2.

Minnesota Frost v. Vancouver Goldeneyes – 7p ET (PWHL)

  • In Vancouver, the Goldeneyes hosted the Frost in the regular season finale for both teams and in the first, Minnesota took the 1-0 lead when Kendall Coyne Schofield netted her 12th but then Vancouver tied the game when Jenn Gardiner netted her ninth.  Then, Vancouver took the lead when Sarah Nurse got her ninth of the year.  In the second, the Goldeneyes took the 3-1 lead when Hannah Miller scored her seventh of the year with a power play goal.  In the third, Minnesota got within a goal when Kelly Pannek netted her 16th of the year and then Klára Hymlárová tied the game for Minnesota with a power play goal, her third goal on the year.  In overtime, Sophie Jaques scored her ninth of the year to give the Goldeneyes the 4-3 win over the Frost.

Pittsburgh Penguins v. Philadelphia Flyers – 8p ET – Game 4

  • In Philadelphia, the Flyers look to secure the series sweep when they host the Penguins and in the first, Pittsburgh took the 1-0 lead with a power play goal from Sidney Crosby, his first goal of this postseason.  In the second, Pittsburgh took the 2-0 lead when Rickard Rakell got his first of the playoffs but then Philadelphia got on the board when Denver Barkey got his first of the playoffs.  In the third, the Pens re-took the two goal lead with Kris Letang’s first goal of the playoffs but then Travis Konecny netted his first to bring Philly within a goal.  Then, Connor Dewar scored his first career NHL playoff goal to give the Penguins the 4-2 win over the Flyers and avoid elimination for at least one more game.
