- The NHL’s Department of Player Safety announced that Utah Mammoth D Sean Durzi has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowed under the terms of the League’s Collective Bargaining Agreement for head-butting Vegas Golden Knights D Rasmus Andersson.
- The money will be placed into the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
- The PWHL announced that the Player of the Week went to Vancouver Goldeneyes F Jenn Gardiner.
- Gardiner had the first four goal game in PWHL history.

Philadelphia Flyers v. Pittsburgh Penguins – 7p ET – Game 2
- In Pittsburgh, the Penguins look to tie the series against the Flyers and after a scoreless first period, the Flyers took the 1-0 when Porter Martone scored his second goal of the postseason and then Garnet Hathaway put Philly up 2-0 when he scored his first goal of the postseason with a power play goal. In the third, Luke Glendening scored an empty net goal, his first goal of the postseason, to give the Flyers the 3-0 win and take the 2-0 series lead.
Ottawa Senators v. Carolina Hurricanes – 730p ET – Game 2
- In Carolina, the Hurricanes look to go up 2-0 in the series against the Senators and in first, Carolina took the 1-0 lead when Logan Stankoven scored a power play goal, his second goal in the postseason. In the second, Carolina went up 2-0 with a goal from Sebastian Aho but then Ottawa got on the board when Drake Batherson scored his first goal of the postseason. Then, Dylan Cozens tied the game for the Sens with his first goal of the postseason. In double overtime, Jordan Martinook scored the game winner with his first goal of the playoffs to give the Hurricanes the 3-2 win over the Senators and take the 2-0 series lead.
