- The Ottawa Senators named Thomas Chabot as their new captain.
- Chabot becomes the 11th captain in franchise history.
- The Pittsburgh Penguins officially unveiled their 60th Anniversary logo.
- The Toronto Maple Leafs signed forward Kirill Marchenko.
- Marchenko signed a 6-year deal with an AAV of $12.5 million.
- The new contract will begin at the start of the 2027-28 season.
