Montreal Canadiens v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 7p ET – Game 2
- In Tampa Bay for Game 2, the Montreal Canadiens would look to continue to stun the Lightning, and in the first period, Brandon Hagel would open the scoring for the Lightning, but Lane Hutson would score on the powerplay to get the Canadiens on the board to tie the game at one. In the second period, Josh Anderson would score to give the Canadiens the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period, Nikita Kucherov would score his first of the playoffs to tie the game at 2 for the Lightning to force over time. In the extra frame, J.J. Moser would score to give the Lightning the 3-2 overtime victory over the Canadiens to even the series at one.
New York Sirens v. Toronto Sceptres – 7p ET (PWHL)
- In Toronto, the Sceptres would play host to the New York Sirens, and after a scoreless 60 minutes of regulation hockey, it would be Allyson Simpson scoring the lone goal of the game to give the Sirens the 1-0 overtime victory over the Sceptres. Kayle Osbourne would stop all 21 shots faced to earn the shutout for the Sirens.
Boston Bruins v. Buffalo Sabres – 730p ET – Game 2
- Back in Buffalo for Game 2, the Sabres look to build upon their huge win from Sunday as they host the Boston Bruins, and after a scoreless first period, Viktor Arvidsson, Morgan Geekie, and Pavel Zacha (PPG) would score to give the Bruins the 3-0 lead. Then in the third period, Arvidsson would net his second of the game for the Bruins, and while Bowen Byram and Peyton Krebs would score for the Sabres, the Bruins would go on to tie the series at one as they defeat the Sabres 4-2.
