Minnesota Frost v. Boston Fleet – 7p ET (PWHL)

  • In Boston, the Frost and Fleet faced off for the last time in the season and in the first Jessie Eldridge scored her 11th of the year to put Boston up 1-0.  In the second, the Fleet went up 2-0 when Jessie Eldridge scored her second of the night with a power play goal.  In the third, Minnesota got on the board when Kendall Cooper scored her second of the year but then Boston re-took the two goal advantage when Alina Müller scored her fourth of the year.  Then, Britta Curl-Salemme netted her 11th of the year for Minnesota but a comeback would fall short as the Fleet escaped with the 3-2 win over the Frost.

 

Toronto Sceptres v. New York Sirens – 7p ET (PWHL)

  • In New York, the Sirens hosted the Sceptres for the final time in the season and following a scoreless first, Toronto took the 1-0 lead when Daryl Watts scored a shorthanded goal, her ninth goal on the season.  In the third, Ella Shelton scored her third to put Toronto up 2-0 but then New York got on the board when Denisa K?ížová got her second of the year.  Then, New York tied the game with a power play goal from Maja Nylén Persson, her second goal on the year, and then Casey O’Brien scored her seventh to give the Sirens the 3-2 win over the Sceptres.

Dallas Stars v. Buffalo Sabres – 7p ET

  • In Buffalo, the Stars and Sabres faced off in the season finale for both squads and in the first Dallas took the 1-0 lead when Mavrik Bourque scored his 20th of the year but then Buffalo tied the game when Josh Norris scored his 13th of the year.  In the second, Buffalo took the 2-1 lead when Zach Benson netted a shorthanded goal, his 13th of the year, but then Dallas tied the game when Esa Lindell netted a power play goal, his sixth of the year.  Then, Alex Tuch netted his 33rd of the year gave Buffalo the 3-2 lead but then Dallas tied the game when Justin Hryckowian scored his 14th of the year.  Following a scoreless third and overtime session, Wyatt Johnston scored the game winner in the fourth round to give the Stars the 4-3 win over the Sabres.

 

New York Rangers v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 7p ET*

  • In Tampa Bay, the Lightning hosted the Rangers in the season finale for both squads and in the first New York took the 1-0 lead when Tye Kartye scored his seventh of the year.  In the second, Tye Kartye got his second of the night to put New York up 2-0 and then Gabe Perreault scored his 12th of the year as the Rangers went up 3-0.  Oliver Bjorkstrand netted his 12th of the year to put Tampa Bay on the board and then New York re-took the three goal lead with Mika Zibanejad scored a power play goal, his 34th goal of the year.  In the third, Tampa Bay’s Corey Perry scored his 17th of the year but the Rangers held on to defeat the Lightning 4-2.

 

 

Detroit Red Wings v. Florida Panthers – 7p ET

  • In the season finale for both Detroit and Florida, the Panthers hosted the Red Wings in South Florida.  In the first, Florida took the 1-0 lead when Vinnie Hinostroza scored his sixth of the year.  In the second, Luke Kunin got his third of the year to put the Panthers up 2-0 and then A.J. Greer got his 17th of the year with a power play goal to put Florida up 3-0.  Then, Mike Benning got a pair of goals, his first career goals in the NHL, to put Florida up 5-0 but then Detroit got on the board when Justin Faulk scored his 16th of the year.  In the third, Cole Schwindt netted his fifth of the year to put the Cats up 6-1 and then Cole Reinhardt scored his ninth of the year as Florida took the 7-1 lead.  Then, Luke Kunin netted his second of the year as the Panthers dominated the Red Wings 8-1.

 

Toronto Maple Leafs v. Ottawa Senators – 730p ET

  • In Ottawa, the Senators hosted the Maple Leafs in the season finale for the two Canadian squads and in the first Ottawa took the 1-0 lead when Drake Batherson netted his 33rd of the year on the power play.  In the second, Ottawa made it a 2-0 lead when Warren Foegele netted a power play goal, his 13th of the year.  In the third, Toronto got on the board when William Nylander netted his 30th of the year but then Ottawa closed the game out with an empty netter by Dylan Cozens, his 28th of the year, as the Senators head to the postseason following the 3-1 win over the Maple Leafs.

 

San Jose Sharks v. Chicago Blackhawks – 830p ET

  • In Chicago, it would be the final game on the season for the Blackhawks as they hosted the Sharks.  In the first, San Jose took the 1-0 lead when Mario Ferraro scored his seventh of the year.  In the second, Michael Misa scored his eighth on the power play to put the Sharks up 2-0 but then Chicago got on the board when Sam Rinzel netted his fourth of the year.  In the third, Louis Crevier got his sixth to tie the game for Chicago and then Ryan Greene netted his 13th of the year to put the Blackhawks up 3-2.  Then, Louis Crevier scored his second of the night to put Chicago up 4-2 and then Nick Lardis scored his 10th of the year as the Blackhawks defeated the Sharks 5-2.
