News:

  • The Washington Capitals announced that they have recalled defenseman Christian Djoos, and re-assigned defenseman Tyler Lewington to Hershey of the AHL.

New Jersey Devils v. Pittsburgh Penguins – 7p EST Start Time

In Pittsburgh the Penguins would play host to the New Jersey Devils. In the first period Dominik Kahun would strike for the Penguins to give the Penguins the 1-0 lead. Then in the second period Taylor Hall would strike on the powerplay, but Jake Guentzel would score to retake the lead for the Penguins. Then in the third period the Penguins would get goals from Jared McCann and John Marino to pull the game out of reach for the Devils as the Penguins win 4-1. Scott’s Recap

 

New York Rangers v. Ottawa Senators – 730p EST Start Time

In Ottawa the Senators take on the New York Rangers. In the first period the Senators would take a two goal lead early as Thomas Chabot would score 57 seconds into the game and then Logan Brown would score his first career NHL goal while on the powerplay, however, the Rangers would strike with a Jacob Trouba tally. In the second period the Senators would pick up where they got interrupted as Tyler Ennis and Anthiny Duclair (PPG would score to grow the Senators lead to three. After a scoreless third period, the Senators will hold on to defeat the Rangers 4-1.
