20 teams would be in action in the NHL as they look to gain position in the standings before the Olympic Break takes place in a week.

As the clean up from the US storms finish up, there would be a quiet night in the NHL as there would be just four games of action, plus lots of news and notes from the hockey world.

With most of the US getting hit with a winter storm, we would be treated to 6 NHL games and 2 PWHL games.

In a surprisingly quiet Saturday before the storms come, there was a 10 game day between the lone game in the PWHL and a nine game night in the NHL, there was great action for most of the day's games.

As a big winter storm approaches, the NHL would feature 8 exciting games.

In a nine game night across the PWHL and NHL, there would be action before the mid-Atlantic storm hits with a honour being bestowed, the PWHL's Minnesota Frost had their championship ring ceremony, plus the recaps of the nights action plus other notes.

In a seven game night between the PWHL and NHL, there was exciting action as teams got closer to the break with the Olympics on the horizon, plus extensions would be announced, an Olympic replacement was announced, and other notes in the hockey world.
