- The NHL’s Department of Player Safety fined Washington Capitals F Brandon Duhaime was fined $2,500 for unsportsmanlike conduct against an opponent while on the bench towards a Seattle player.
- The money from the fine will be placed in the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
- The Detroit Red Wings and Ben Chiarot have agreed to a three year contract extension.
- The value of the extension has an AAV $3.85 million

Toronto Sceptres v. Montreal Victoire – 630p ET (PWHL)
- In the first game of the night for the PWHL, the Victoire hosted the Sceptres and in the first Montréal took the 1-0 with Natálie Mlýnková scored her fourth of the year. In the second, Marie-Philip Poulin netted her seventh of the year to put Montréal up 2-0 and then Shiann Darkangelo scored her third of the year as the Victoire got the 3-0 win over the Sceptres after no goals were scored in the third.

New York Sirens v. Boston Fleet – 7p ET (PWHL)
- In Boston, the Fleet hosted the Sirens for the first time on the year and in the first Boston took the 1-0 lead with Abby Newhook’s fourth of the year. In the second, New York tied the game with Kristin O’Neill’s fourth of the year and then the Sirens took the 2-1 lead with Kristýna Kaltounková’s 10th of the year. In the third, the Fleet tied the game with Liz Schepers second of the year and then Boston re-took the lead as Jamie Lee Rattray scored her third of the year. New York then tied the game as Kristýna Kaltounková’s scored her second of the night. Following a scoreless overtime session, Alina Müller scored the game winner in the shootout as the Fleet got the 4-3 win over the Sirens.
New York Rangers v. New York Islanders – 7p ET
- In Long Island, the Islanders hosted the Rangers for the final time on the season and in the first the the Isles took the 1-0 lead with Ondrej Palat’s fifth of the year with a power play goal and then Simon Holmstrom scored his 13th of the year to put the Islanders up 2-0. Then, the Rangers got on the board with a power play goal from Mika Zibanejad. In the second, Mathew Barzal got his 13th of the year with an Isles power play goal and then Jean-Gabriel Pageau’s 11th of the year gave the Islanders the three goal lead. Taylor Raddysh then scored his eighth of the year put the Blueshirts within a pair but then Emil Heineman scored his 15th as the Isles re-took the three goal lead. With no scores occurring in the third period, the Islanders escaped with the 5-2 win over the Rangers.
Seattle Torrent v. Ottawa Charge – 7p ET (PWHL)
- In Ottawa, the Charge hosted the Torrent for the first time on the year and following a scoreless first, Seattle took the 1-0 lead when Hilary Knight scored her third of the year on the power play. In the third, Fanuza Kadirova scored her fourth to put Ottawa on the board but then Seattle re-took the lead as Jessie Eldridge scored her fifth of the year. Then, Rebecca Leslie scored a pair of goals to put Ottawa in the lead, with the swcond goal being on the Charge power play. Then, Emily Clark scored her second goal on the season as the Charge came back to defeat the Torrent 5-2.
Philadelphia Flyers v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 730p ET
- In Columbus, the Blue Jackets faced off against the Flyers for the first time this season and in the first Columbus went up 1-0 with Charlie Coyle’s 12th of the year but then Philadelphia tied the game as Travis Konecny notched his 18th of the year. Kirill Marchenko then went on to net his 19th of the year as Columbus took the 2-1 lead. In the second, Erik Gudbranson netted his first of the year as the Blue Jackets went up 3-1. In the third, Travis Konecny added a pair of goals to give himself the hat trick and tie the game for Philly, but Sean Monahan gave Columbus the lead for good with his ninth on the year and then Mathieu Olivier closed the game with an empty netter as the Blue Jackets downed the Flyers 5-3.
Colorado Avalanche v. Ottawa Senators – 730p ET
- In Ottawa, the Senators and Avalanche ended their season series and after a scoreless first Ottawa went up 1-0 with Nick Cousins seventh of the year but then Colorado tied the contest as Parker Kelly netted his 11th of the year. Then, Ridly Greig scored his ninth of the year to give the Sens the lead back. In the third, Claude Giroux scored his 10th as the Sens took the 3-1 lead but then the Avs got within a goal with Valeri Nichushkin’s 12th of the year. Then, Ottawa went back up two with an empty netter from Brady Tkachuk, his 13th goal of the year, and then Tim Stützle scored his 24th of the year, as the Senators upset the Avalanche 5-2.
