Jersey Tracking and Mini Recaps

Ottawa Charge v. Boston Fleet – 12p ET (PWHL)

  • At Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the Boston Fleet would battle the Ottawa Charge for the PWHL Takeover Tour, and in the first period, Susanna Tapani would score to give the Fleet the 1-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second period, Brianne Jenner would score to tie the game at one for the Charge to force overtime. After a scoreless five minutes of extra hockey, Kate?ina Mrázová would score the shootout winner to give the Charge the 2-1 victory over the Fleet and extend their winning streak to six.

Seattle Torrent v. Minnesota Frost – 2p ET (PWHL)

  • In Minnesota, the Frost would play host to the Seattle Torrent, and in the first period, Katy Knoll would score to give the Frost the 1-0 lead. In the second period, Grace Zumwinkle would score a pair of goals to grow the Frost’s lead to three, but Jessie Eldridge would score to get the Torrent on the board and back within two. Then in the third period, Taylor Heise and Knoll would score to give the Frost the 5-1 lead. While Danielle Serdachny would score for the Torrent, but Abby Hustler would score to give the Frost the 6-2 victory over the Torrent.

Vancouver Goldeneyes v. Montreal Victoire – 2p ET (PWHL)

  • In Montreal, the Vancouver Goldeneyes would come to town to battle the Montreal Victoire, and after a scoreless first period, Nicole Gosling would score her first career PWHL goal to give the Victoire the 1-0 lead. Then it would be a scoreless third period as the Victoire would hold on to defeat the Goldeneyes 1-0. Ann-Renee Desbiens would stop all 26 shots faced to earn the shutout for the Victoire.

New Jersey Devils v. Winnipeg Jets – 2p ET

  • In Winnipeg, the Jets would play host to the New Jersey Devils, and in the first period, both teams would trade goals as Alex Iafallo would score for the Jets while Nico Hischier would strike for the Devils for the 1-1 tie. In the second period, Jonathan Toews would score fort he Jets, but a pair of goals from Cody Glass would give the Devils the 3-2 lead. However, Gabriel Vilardi would score to tie the game at three for the Jets. Then in the third period, Tanner Pearson would score to give the Jets the 4-3 victory over the Devils.

Pittsburgh Penguins v. Boston Bruins – 5p ET

  • In Boston, a day after dismantling the New York Rangers, the Bruins play host to the Pittsburgh Penguins, and in the first period, Viktor Arvidsson would score the lone goal of the game to give the Bruins the 1-0 victory over the Penguins. Joonas Korpisalo would stop all 27 shots faced to earn the shutout for the Bruins.

Washington Capitals v. Nashville Predators – 7p ET

  • In Nashville, the Predators would play host to the Washington Capitals, and in the first period, Alex Ovechkin would score on the powerplay to earn his 21st 20 goal season of his career to give the Capitals the 1-0 lead, but Steven Stamkos would score with a powerplay goal of his own to tie the game at one for the Predators. Then after a scoreless second period, Cole Smith and Roman Josi (PPG) would score to give the Predators the 3-1 lead, and while Ethen Frank would score on the powerplay for the Capitals, the Predators would go on to defeat the Capitals 3-2.

Columbus Blue Jackets v. Utah Mammoth – 7p ET

  • In Utah, the Columbus Blue Jackets would continue their road trip with a visit to the Mammoth, and in the first period, Mikael Pyyhtia would score his first of the season for the Jackets to take the 1-0 lead, but Jack McBain would score to tie the game for the Mammoth. In the second period, Mikhail Sergachev would score for the Mammoth while Charlie Coyle would strike on the powerplay for the Jackets for a 2-2 tie. Then after a scoreless third period, Dmitri Voronkov would strike on the powerplay to give the Blue Jackets the 3-2 overtime victory over the Mammoth.

Vegas Golden Knights v. San Jose Sharks – 8p ET

  • In San Jose, the Sharks would play host to the Vegas Golden Knights, and in the first period, Jack Eichel would open the scoring for the Knights while Collin Graf would score for the Sharks for the 1-1 tie, but a powerplay goal by Pavel Dorofeyev would give the Knights the 2-1 lead. In the second period, Eichel, Tomas Hertl (PPG), and Zach Whitecloud would score to give the Knights the 5-1 lead, but Alexander Wennberg would score for the Sharks. Then in the third period, Shea Theodore (ENG) and Tomas Hertl would score to give the Golden Knights the 7-2 victory over the Sharks.
