  • In the PWHL, the New York Sirens announced that they will play in the first ever PWHL game at Madison Square Garden on April 4th.
    • The Sirens will take on the Seattle Torrent.

Jersey Tracking and Mini Recaps

Calgary Flames v. Boston Bruins – 7p ET

  • In Boston, the Bruins hosted the Flames for the lone time on the year and in the first Sean Kuraly’s fourth put Boston up 1-0 and then Elias Lindholm got his eighth to put the Bruins up 2-0.  In the second, Mason Lohrei netted his fourth to put Boston up 3-0 and then Casey Mittelstadt scored his 10th to put the B’s up 4-0.  Then, Calgary got on the board when Connor Zary scored his fourth.  Despite the scoreless third, the Bruins stood pat as they got the 4-1 win over the Flames.

Florida Panthers v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET

  • In Montréal, the Canadiens hosted the Panthers and in the first Montréal went up 1-0 with Noah Dobson’s eighth of the year and then the Habs went up 2-0 as Oliver Kapanen scored his 15th of the year.  In the second, Florida went on the board with Sam Bennett’s 15th of the year but then Montréal went back up two as Alexandre Texier got his fifth of the year.  In the third, scored his second of the night as Montréal went up three but then Sam Bennett scored his second of the night as Florida came within two.  Then, Juraj Slafkovský was awarded a goal with an empty net penalty shot, his 16th goal on the year, as Montréal went up three and then Alexandre Texier completed the hat trick as the Canadiens defeated the Panthers 6-2.

Vancouver Canucks v. Detroit Red Wings – 7p ET

  • In Detroit, the Red Wings welcomed the Canucks back to the Motor City and in the first Patrick Kane scored his seventh on the power play to put Detroit up 1-0.  In the second, Axel Sandin-Pellikka’s fifth put the Red Wings up 2-0 but then Jake DeBrusk’s 12th on the Cancuks power play put Vancouver on the board.  Then, J.T. Compher’s fifth on the year put Detroit back up a pair.  In the third, Patrick Kane scored an empty netter as Detroit went up three and then Lucas Raymond scored his 13th as the Red Wings breezed by the Canucks 5-1.

Buffalo Sabres v. New York Rangers – 7p ET

  • In New York, the Rangers welcomed the Sabres back to The Garden and in the first Buffalo went up 1-0 as Josh Doan scored his 14th of the year.  In the second, Alex Tuch got his 14th to put Buffalo up 2-0 but then Mika Zibanejad netted his 16th to put New York on the board.  Then, Jason Zucker’s 10th goal on the Buffalo power play put the Sabres back up a pair.  In the third, Vincent Trocheck’s 11th put New York within a goal but then Mattias Samuelsson scored his seventh with a shorthanded goal to put Buffalo up two.  Then, Ryan McLeod scored an empty netter, his ninth goal on the year, as the Sabres downed the Rangers 5-2.

Toronto Maple Leafs v. Philadelphia Flyers – 7p ET

  • In Philadelphia, the Flyers hosted the Maple Leafs in the City of Brotherly Love and following a scoreless first, Philadelphia got on the board with Travis Konecny’s 14th of the year.  In the third, Toronto got on the board with Scott Laughton’s fifth of the year with a shorthanded goal.  In the overtime session, Easton Cowan scored his sixth of the year as the Maple Leafs defeated the Flyers 2-1.

New Jersey Devils v. Pittsburgh Penguins – 7p ET

  • In Pittsburgh, the Penguins welcomed the Devils back to the Steel City and in the first Pittsburgh went up 1-0 as Erik Karlsson scored his fourth.  In the second, Connor Dewar’s eighth put Pittsburgh up 2-0 and then Evgeni Malkin’s power play goal, his ninth goal of the year, put the Pens up 3-0.  In the third, Luke Hughes got New Jersey on the board with a power play goal, his fifth goal of the year, but then Blake Lizotte netted his fifth of the year as the Penguins defeated the Devils 4-1.

Anaheim Ducks v. Carolina Hurricanes – 7p ET

  • In Raleigh, the Hurricanes hosted the Ducks and in the first Anaheim went up 1-0 as Ryan Poehling scored his third of the year.  In the second, Mark Jankowski scored his third as Carolina tied the game but then Mikael Granlund scored his eighth as the Ducks re-took the lead.  Then, Logan Stankoven scored his ninth as Carolina tied the game and then Jalen Chatfield scored his first of the year as the Canes took the 3-2 lead.  In the third, Jackson Blake scored his 13th as Carolina took the 4-2 lead and then Taylor Hall scored an empty netter, his ninth goal of the year, as the Hurricanes got the 5-2 win over the Ducks.

New York Islanders v. Nashville Predators – 8p ET

  • In Nashville, the Predators welcomed the Islanders back to Music City USA and after a scoreless first, New York took the 1-0 lead when Simon Holmstrom scored his 10th of the year but then Ryan O’Reilly scored a shorthanded goal, his 13th goal of the year, to tie the game for Nashville.  Following a scoreless third and overtime, the game moved to the shootout where Filip Forsberg scored the lone goal in the shootout to give the Predators the 2-1 win over the Islanders.

Edmonton Oilers v. Winnipeg Jets – 8p ET

  • In Winnipeg, the Jets hosted the Oilers and in the first Winnipeg took the 1-0 lead when Kyle Connor scored his 21st but then Vasily Podkolzin scored his 10th to tied the game for Edmonton.  Then, Tanner Pearson scored his fifth to put Winnipeg back in the lead and then Josh Morrissey scored his seventh as the Jets went up 3-1.  In the second, Connor McDavid netted his 29th as Edmonton came within a goal.  In the third, Zach Hyman’s 13th tied the game for Edmonton and then Evan Bouchard scored the game winner with a power play goal, his ninth goal of the year, as the Oilers got the 4-3 win over the Jets.
