Pittsburgh Penguins v. Detroit Red Wings – 12p ET
- In Detroit, the Red Wings hosted the Penguins and in the first Bryan Rust scored his 16th to put Pittsburgh up 1-0 and then Yegor Chinakov got his fourth as the Pens took the 2-0 lead. In the second, Alex DeBrincat got Detroit on the board with his 22nd of the year. In the third, Rickard Rakell scored his fifth with an empty netter as Pittsburgh went back up two and then Connor Dewar got his seventh with an empty netter as the Penguins clipped the Red Wings 4-1.
Minnesota Frost v. Ottawa Charge – 1p ET (PWHL)
- In Ottawa, the Charge faced off against the Frost and in the first Ottawa took the 1-0 lead when Brianne Jenner scored her fourth of the year. In the second, Minnesota tied the game when Kelly Pannek scored her fourth of the year but then Emily Clark put Ottawa back in the lead with her first of the year. Then, Sarah Wozniewicz netted her second of the year as Ottawa went up two and then Kate?ina Mrázová scored her first as the Charge took the 4-1 lead. Then, Britta Curl-Salemme got her fourth of the year to bring the Frost within two. In the third, Brianne Jenner scored her second of the game as the Charge froze the Frost for the 5-2 win.
Seattle Torrent v. Toronto Sceptres – 2p ET (PWHL)
- In Toronto, the Scepters and Torrent faced off for the very first time in PWHL history and in the first Seattle took the 1-0 lead when Lexie Adzija scored her second of the year. In the second, Toronto tied the game when Natalie Spooner scored her second of the year. In the third, the Scepters took the 2-1 lead when Daryl Watts scored her fifth but then the Torrent tied the game when Alex Carpenter got her fifth of the year. After the scoreless overtime, Anna Wilgren scored the eventual game winner to give the Torrent the 3-2 win over the Sceptres.
Utah Mammoth v. New Jersey Devils – 3p ET
- In New Jersey, the Devils welcomed the Mammoth back to the Garden State and in the first Jesper Bratt netted his ninth of the year to put New Jersey up 1-0 and then Timo Meier scored his 12th as the Devils went up 2-0. In the second, Nico Hischier scored a power play goal, his 12th goal of the year, to put New Jersey up 3-0 and then Dougie Hamilton scored his fifth as the Devs went up 4-0. In the third, Utah got on the board when Michael Carcone but the Devils stood by for the 4-1 win over the Mammoth.
Buffalo Sabres v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 3p ET
- In Columbus the Blue Jackets hosted the Sabres and in the first Columbus went up 1-0 when Denton Mateychuk scored his eighth and but then Josh Doan’s 12th of the year put Buffalo on the board. Then, Brendan Gaunce’s shorthanded goal, his second goal of the year, put Columbus back in the lead and then Dmitri Voronkov’s 14th on the year gave Columbus the 3-1 lead. In the second, Mathieu Olivier’s fourth gave Columbus the 4-1 lead. In the third, Cole Sillinger scored an empty netter, his fifth goal of the year, as the Blue Jackets the 5-1 win over the Sabres.
Philadelphia Flyers v. Edmonton Oilers – 330p ET
- In Edmonton, the Oilers hosted the Flyers and in the first Philadelphia took the 1-0 lead when Denver Barkey scored his first career NHL goal and then Travis Sanheim scored his fourth to put the Flyers up 2-0. Then, the Flyers took the 3-0 lead when Bobby Brink scored his 11th and then Connor McDavid netted his 25th as the Oilers got on the board. In the second, Evan Bouchard’s power play goal, his eighth goal of the year, to bring the Oilers within a goal. In the third, Nick Seeler scored his first of the year to put Philadelphia back up two and then Owen Tippett scored his 13th with an empty netter as the Flyers downed the Oilers 5-2.
Montreal Canadiens v. St. Louis Blues – 4p ET
- In St. Louis, the Blues hosted the Canadiens and in the first St. Louis took the 1-0 lead when Jonatan Berggren scored his fifth. In the second, the Blues took the 2-0 and win over the Canadiens when Robert Thomas scored his 10th with a shorthanded goal.
Tampa Bay Lightning v. San Jose Sharks – 4p ET
- In San Jose, the Sharks welcomed the Lightning back to the Shark Tank and in the first Tampa Bay went up 1-0 when Brayden Point scored his 10th and then Darren Raddysh got his 10th as the Lightning went up 2-0. Then, Brandon Hagel scored his 19th as the Bolts went up 3-0 and then San Jose got on the board with a power play goal from Pavol Regenda, his third goal of the year. In the second, Darren Raddysh scored his second of the game on the man advantage to put the Botls up three and then Dominic James scored his third as the Lightning took the 5-1 lead. Pavol Regenda then scored his second of the game to bring the Sharks within three but then Nikita Kucherov scored a power play goal to put Tampa Bay back up four. Then, Darren Raddysh scored a power play goal to complete the hat trick as Tampa Bay took the five goal lead. In the third, Pavol Regenda complete his own hat trick but the San Jose comeback fell way short as the Lightning stormed over the Sharks for the 7-3 win.
Vancouver Goldeneyes v. Boston Fleet – 7p ET (PWHL)
- In the PWHL Takeover Tour contest taking place in Detroit, the Goldeneyes and Fleet faced off. In the first, Boston took the 1-0 lead when Olivia Mobley scored her third but then Vancouver got on the board when Hannah Miller scored her first of the year. Then Boston re-took the lead when Susanna Tapani scored her thrid of the year. After a scoreless second, Boston took the two goal lead when Jamie Lee Rattray scored her first of the year but then Vancouver got within a goal when Claire Thompson scored her third of the year. Then, Sophie Jaques netted a power paly goal to tie the game for Vancouver and then Izzy Daniel scored the game winner, her second goal of the year, as the Goldeneyes scored three unanswered to defeat the Fleet 4-3.
Winnipeg Jets v. Ottawa Senators – 7p ET
- In Ottawa, the Senators hosted the Jets and in the first Winnipeg took the 1-0 lead with a shorthanded goal from Adam Lowry, his third goal of the year, but then Ottawa tied the game when Thomas Chabot scored a power play goal, his third of the year. In the second, Thomas Chabot got his second of the year to give Ottawa the 2-1 lead and then Drake Batherson scored a power play goal, his 16th goal of the year, to give the Sens the 3-1 lead. In the third, Kyle Connor scored his 19th as Winnipeg got within a goal but Claude Giroux scored his eighth as the Senators doubled up the Jets 4-2.
Toronto Maple Leafs v. New York Islanders – 7p ET
- In Long Island, the Islanders hosted the Maple Leafs and following a scoreless first Adam Pelech scored his third to put New York up 1-0 but then Auston Matthews scored a pair of goals to put Toronto up 2-1. In the third, Matthew Schaefer scored his 11th to tie the game for New York but then Nicholas Robertson scored his ninth as Toronto re-took the lead. Then, Emil Heineman scored his 13th as New York tied the game once again. In overtime, Matthew Schaefer scored the game winner, his second goal of the night, as the Islanders got the 4-3 win over the Maple Leafs.
Chicago Blackhawks v. Washington Capitals – 7p ET
- In Washington, the Capitals hosted the Blackhawks in the lone match-up in the Nations Capital. In the first, Chicago took the 1-0 lead when Ryan Donato scored his 10th but Washington evened the score when Dylan Strome got his 10th of the year. In the second, Teuvo Teravainen scored his ninth of the year on the Chicago power play to put the Blackhawks back in the lead. In the third, Ryan Leonard scored his eighth as the Caps tied the game. After a scoreless overtime, Nick Foligno scored the game winner in the shootout as the Blackhawks got the 3-2 win over the Capitals.
Colorado Avalanche v. Carolina Hurricanes – 7p ET
- In Raleigh, it would be a Throwback Night as the Hurricanes and Avalanche wore throwback jerseys as the Hartford Whalers and the Quebec Nordiques, respectively, in an Adams Division rivalry matchup. In the first, Carolina took the 1-0 lead when Sebastian Aho scored his 17th of the year with a shorthanded goal. In the second, Colorado tied the game when Gabriel Landeskog got his seventh of the year but the Carolina re-took the lead with a power play goal from Nikolaj Ehlers, his 10th of the year. Then, Andrei Svechnikov scored his 12th of the year as the Canes took the two goal lead. In the third, Brock Nelson scored a power play goal, his 17th of the year, as Colorado came within a goal and then Jack Drury scored his seventh goal of the year to make it a 3-3 game. Then, Brock Nelson scored his second of the night to put Colorado in the lead and then Nathan MacKinnon was awarded an empty net goal, his 35th goal of the year, as the Avalanche got the 5-3 win over the Hurricanes.
Nashville Predators v. Calgary Flames – 7p ET
- In Calgary, the Flames hosted the Predators and in the first Calgary took the 1-0 lead when Yan Kuznetsov scored his third of the year but then Nashville took the 2-1 lead with a pair of goals from Erik Haula. Calgary then tied the game when Rasmus Andersson scored his ninth. In the second, Nashville re-took the lead lead when Michael Bunting scored his 11th. In the third, Blake Coleman scored his 13th to tie the game for Calgary but then Nicolas Hague scored his second of the year as the Predators got the 4-3 win over the Flames.
