  • The Washington Capitals made a pair of roster moves.
    • The Capitals reassigned forward Bogdan Trineyev to Hershey of the AHL.
    • The Capitals recalled forward Ivan Miroshnichenko from Hershey.

 

  • The Los Angeles Kings and Montreal Canadiens would make a trade.
    • The Canadiens acquired forward Phillip Danault.
    • The Kings acquired a 2026 2nd Round Pick.

 

  • The Seattle Kraken and Columbus Blue Jackets would make a trade.
    • The Blue Jackets acquired forward Mason Marchment.
    • The Kraken acquired a 2027 2nd Round Pick and a 2026 4th Round Pick (NYR).

Carolina Hurricanes v. Florida Panthers – 7p ET

  • In Florida, the Panthers would play host to the Carolina Hurricanes, and in the first period, Jordan Staal would net his 10th of the season to give the Hurricanes the 1-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second period, Sebastian Aho would score a pair of goals, including one on the powerplay, to give the Hurricanes the 3-0 lead, but Brad Marchand would net his 20th of the season to get the Panthers on the board and Sam Bennett and Sam Reinhart would score to tie the game at three for the Panthers to force overtime. After a scoreless five minutes of extra hockey, it would be Evan Rodrigues with the shootout winner to give the Panthers the 4-3 comeback victory over the Hurricanes.

Vancouver Canucks v. New York Islanders – 7p ET

  • On Long Island, the Vancouver Canucks would come to town to battle the New York Islanders, and in the first period, David Kampf would score his first as a Canuck and Kiefer Sherwood would score a pair of goals, one being a powerplay tally, to give the Canucks the 3-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second period, Anders Lee would score to get the Islanders on the board, but Sherwood would score to complete the hat trick to give the Canucks the 4-1 victory over the Islanders.

Boston Fleet v. Minnesota Frost – 8p ET (PWHL)

  • In Minnesota, the Frost would go to battle with the Boston Fleet, and in the first period, Kendall Coyne Schofield and Dominique Petrie would score to give the Frost the 2-0 lead. In the second period, Britta Curl-Salemme would score to grow the Frost’s lead to three. Then in the third period, Olivia Mobley and Riley Brengman would both score their first career PWHL goals to get the Fleet back within one, but Katy Knoll would score the empty netter and Kelly Pannek would also score an empty netter to give the Frost the 5-2 victory over the Fleet.
