Vancouver Canucks v. New Jersey Devils – 1230p ET

  • In New Jersey, the Devils would pay host to the new look Vancouver Canucks, and in the first period, Jake DeBrusk would score on the powerplay and Zeev Buium would score his first goal as a Canuck while on the powerplay to give the Canucks the 2-0 lead. Then in the second period, Luke Hughes would score for the Devils to get them back within one, but it would not be enough as the Canucks would hold on for the 2-1 victory over the Devils.

Utah Mammoth v. Pittsburgh Penguins – 3p ET

  • In Pittsburgh, the Utah Mammoth would come to town to face off with the Penguins, and in the first period, Justin Brazeau and Bryan Rust would score for the Penguins to take the 2-0 lead. In the second period, Ben Kindel would score to grow the Penguins lead to three. Then in the third period, Nate Schmid, Michael Carcone, and Sean Durzi would score to get the Mammoth on the board and tie the game at three, and then while on the powerplay, Carcone would net his second of the period to give the Mammoth the 4-3 lead. However, Brazeau would score to tie the game at 4 for the Penguins to force overtime. In the extra frame, Dylan Guenther would score to give the Mammoth the 5-4 overtime victory over the Penguins.

Philadelphia Flyers v. Carolina Hurricanes – 5p ET

  • In Carolina, the Philadelphia Flyers would come to town to battle the Hurricanes, and in the first period, William Carrier and Taylor Hall (PPG) would score to give the Hurricanes the 2-0 lead, but Jamie Drysdale would score to get the Flyers on the board and back within one. Then after a scoreless second period, Trevor Zegras would score to tie the game at two for the Flyers to force overtime. After a scoreless five minutes of extra hockey, Andrei Svechnikov would score in the shootout to give the Hurricanes the 3-2 victory over the Flyers.

Boston Bruins v. Minnesota Wild – 6p ET

  • In Minnesota, the Boston Bruins would come to town as Quinn Hughes would make his debut with the Wild, and in the first period, Jared Spurgeon would score on the powerplay to give the Wild the 1-0 lead. In the second period, Kirill Kaprizov and Ryan Hartman would score to grow the Wild’s lead to 3. Then in the third period, Hughes would score his first goal as a member of the Wild and Matt Boldy would score to give the Wild the 5-0 lead. Alex Steeves and Andrew Peeke would score for the Bruins, but Kaprizov would net his second of the game for his 20th of the season to give the Wild the 6-2 victory over the Bruins.

Edmonton Oilers v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET

  • In Montreal, the Canadiens would play host to the Edmonton Oilers, and after a scoreless first period, Ivan Demidov would score on the powerplay and Joe Veleno would score to give the Canadiens the 2-0 lead. Then in the third period, Nick Suzuki would score on the powerplay to give the Canadiens the 3-0 lead, but Zach Hyman would score on the powerplay for the Oilers to get on the board. However Alexandre Texier would score to give the Canadiens the 4-1 victory over the Oilers.

Buffalo Sabres v. Seattle Kraken – 8p ET

  • In Seattle, the Kraken would go to battle with the visiting Buffalo Sabres, and in the first period, Noah Ostlund would score to give the Sabres the 1-0 lead. In the second period, Tage Thompson would score to give the Sabres the 2-0 lead, but Chandler Stephenson would score on the powerplay to get the Kraken on the board and back within one. Then in the third period, Zach Benson would get the empty netter to give the Sabres the 3-1 victory over the Kraken.
