Toronto Maple Leafs v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 730p ET
- In Columbus, the Blue Jackets hosted the Maple Leafs and in the first, Columbus took the 1-0 lead when Cole Sillinger scored his first of the year and then Zach Werenski scored his third to put the Blue Jackets up 2-0. In the second, Sammy Blais netted his first to get Toronto on the board but then a goal from Ivan Provorov gave Columbus the two goal lead back. Then, the Jackets went up three when Cole Sillinger struck with his second of the night and then Dante Fabbro scored his first as Columbus went up 5-1. In the third, Mathieu Olivier gave Columbus the 6-1 lead with his first of the year but then Toronto responded when John Tavares got his sixth of the year to cut the Columbus lead to four. Then, Nicolas Robertson scored his second for the Leafs but the Blue Jackets stood pat as they downed the Maple Leafs 6-3.
