  • The Florida Panthers announced that they have re-signed Jonah Gadjovich.
    • Gadjovich signed a 2 year deal with an AAV of $905k per season.

  • The NHL Department of Player Safety doled out a pair of fines.
    • First DoPS fined Utah Mammoth defenseman Ian Cole $2,500 for doing a dangerous trip against Nashville Predators forward Steven Stamkos on Saturday, Oct. 11th.
    • DoPS also fined Vancouver Canucks defenseman Tyler Myers $2,500 for slashing against Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid on Saturday, Oct. 11th.

  • At Madison Square Garden, the Washington Capitals visited the New York Rangers, and after a scoreless first period, Anthony Beauvillier would score to give the Capitals the eventual 1-0 victory over the Rangers. Charlie Lindgren stopped all 35 shots faced to earn the shutout for the Capitals.
